Czer’s Drive-In

This is your typical Mom-​and-​Pop burger joint. Delightfully simple but not overly greasy. Definitely a good local spot. It’s places like these that are the best place to find a yummy burger!
I had the basic cheeseburger and fry. It was very good!
Decent amount of food for a very reasonable price. If you’re passing through, stop by!

whenever going through elgin this is my go to spot for a great burger and fries. the food is great and the loggers burger is what i get and its amazing. its a bit on the spendy side but i consider this place a treat i always look forward to going here when i go through elgin. the service has always been good the times i have been there. if you ever are driving through the area this is a place you have to stop and try some time. i have yet to be disappointed by there food.

The food at czers is decent, however, it is way overpriced. The burgers are a little too greasy as well. I would recommend to just eat at subway if you are in elgin.

We are from out of town, staying a local RV park. Just wanted a burger and fries for dinner. Went to the drive-​in and had trouble finding where to park. Finally placed my order for 2 regular burgers, which the waitperson said were «really big» and also paid extra for bacon on the burgers. When we got back to the RV we discovered there was no bacon on them and very small meat patties. Maybe it was an off day for them, but when we return to Elgin we will not go again.

It is OK had a double burger frozen patty’s limp fries but the shrimp basket was good and good portion not bad for a little town when your hungry I’d eat here again just not a burger

When I was in grade school in the late 1960’s I used to roll on down to Czer’s on my bike a get some BBQ Fries… Oh the memories… I just rolled up in my car now 2013 and got some BBQ Fries, some great things never change!!!

What a treat! Small town hamburger drive-in’s are a special breed. This is the best one in town. I live in Beaverton Oregon and everytime I go to Wallowa Lake it is a must stop, even on the return trip. Like John said «it is the King of Burger stands» See you next year.

when you live in Elgin for long enough… This place becomes a treat. It is good! When I lived in Elgin I used to hate the fact that they would close early in the winter… maybe closed for the whole winter? I don’t remember.
All the food is good. It is not the Ritz-​Carlton of burger stands… Oh wait, this is Elgin… It is the King of Burger stands. Corndogs too!

I grew up in Elgin and my friend’s and I always loved stopping off at Czer’s for a «Tom Church» burger or one of their amazing special drinks (love the «koala bear» and «something blue»). They are great at giving young people opportunities as well. I had several people I went to school with work there after school. After school I moved away from Elgin and started a family. Now I have every member of my in-​laws hooked on Czer’s who we’ve taken back to Elgin when we go to visit my family. Elgin has a real treasure with this little place. When you live around something as iconic as Czer’s, you know it’s good food but you don’t realize just how good it is until you travel around and can’t find any place comparable, this is one of those places. By far the best burgers and fries money can buy anywhere and I have been all over the place. If you find yourself even remotely in the area of this small NE Oregon town, you would be missing a terrific experience if you don’t stop in.
