Associates For Women’s Health

This is an immensely caring practice. It’s a little bare bones as an office but Glenda is AWESOME as is Heather and Diane. I can’t say enough about how wonderful these women are. They are true blue midwives who want to give you a great birth experience. Very relaxed and attentive even during busy times. I came to the practice later in my pregnancy and delivered early but everyone was so attentive and nice, going above and beyond when baby ended up in NICU due to jaundice and I called because I was exhausted and overwhelmed. If you want great care in a midwife model these ladies are top notch!

I cannot begin to say how happy I am with this group. I’ve been seen by them since 2004. Glenda has seen me all these years and I have nothing but great things to say about her. I have also seen Heather and she is wonderful.
In 2005, I delivered my son via emergency C-​section. Dr. Michael Riermaier did the procedure. I really didn’t get to meet him prior to that, so I wrongfully judged his professionalism and character. In fact, I was terrified of having another child just because I didn’t want him to do a cesarean on me again.
Now, ten years later, I found myself trying to have a vbac delivery. I was induced by Dr. Riermaier, and he was so patient and professional with me… yes, and I had feared him all these years lol! He continued the induction process until I finally realized I wasn’t going to be able to deliver even though the process was nearly successful and my body responded to the treatment quickly; my son was not in the pelvic area.
I think the Dr. knew in the back of his mind that I would end up having another cesarean, but chose to work with me and with what I wanted. The surgery was a success… I just had my son a week ago, and I can finally say that everyone in that group is amazing.
