They did a great job completing a deck repair for me, on time, price was reasonable! I’d recommend for sure!

We’ve had Handyman Matters help us with a couple of home improvement projects and intend to use them in the future as well! Everyone we’ve worked with has been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The receptionist Rose has made sure that she sends out the right person for the type of job we need done based on their skill level. Great company!

So, here’s the update. Complaining to
didn’t do much, since the owner was insistent that I was at fault for not providing him with a report from a structural engineer, and ‘their craftsmanship (for real, that’s the actual word he used to call that hatchet job) spoke for itself’. So I said, screw it, and hired someone else who charged me $ 300 (as opposed to $ 2,500 I was charged by Handyman Matters). It took them 1.5 days. They were neat and clean. No one had to keep coming back. It’s been months since it was completed, and the ceiling looks beautiful! There are no more cracks, and NO STRUCTURAL ENGINEER HAD TO BE INVOLVED (what a surprise, I know). That’s how real pros do it – quickly, efficiently, and flawlessly. Handyman Matters is a bunch of clowns. Enjoy the 2.5 grand you stole from me.

This company is wonderful. The serviceman was excellent, results were outstanding, and customer service was great. Prices very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone.

Can you give six stars? I’d really like to give six stars. I’m in the process of selling a house on the east coast while living and working on the west coast (I don’t recommend that), so everything I need to do towards that end is extra stupid complicated. One of the things that I needed to do was take care of a list of fairly random FHA-​required repairs — paint this window sill over here, paint this door jamb over here, install some railing right here, etc. It wasn’t a lucrative big job like a kitchen renovation, but rather a short list of annoyances.
I must have contacted ten companies in the process of trying to get this work done. Three of them got back to me. Of those two, one was super ridiculously flaky, another didn’t get back until a week later, and the third was Handyman Matters. Rosemarie was incredibly understanding and professional, responding with all possible speed to my inquiries and special requests (e.g., lockbox access), and she and her team had the full job done in plenty of time for the re-​inspection. As a bonus, they charged me about 75% of the estimate, and keep in mind that by this point I was broadcasting «I WILL HURL MONEY AT THIS PROBLEM TO MAKE IT GO AWAY» loud and clear.
The house passed re-​inspection smoothly, so while I haven’t seen the work, I know it must have been done right.
So there you go. They took a very inconvenient customer and worked with that person to get the job done quickly, well, and for an extremely reasonable price. Just imagine the amazing things that they could do for you, person who actually lives within 3000 miles of the job site! Seriously, hire these people. You can’t go wrong.

Great company. Door was in dire need of repair and Rosemarie was great in working around my busy work schedule. Rich Myers did the work and finished so quickly that he had time to kill and was able to take care of another nagging problem, all within an hour! Was pleasantly surprised. Very prompt and professional overall. Very reasonable hourly rates. Plan on using them again for sure!

Great service. I needed some painting done in areas of my house that I couldn’t reach on my own ladder. I sent an online inquiry through the site, was called back by Sharon immediately, and had a «craftsman» (as they put it) named Josh scheduled for the very next morning. He called the night before to find out what supplies I already had, and the next morning was right on time. He was tidy, courteous and did a very nice job
I have no complaints at all and would definitely use Handyman Matters again. It’s not that hard to find people who will take on big jobs, but if you have just a little thing that needs fixing, it can be a real pain to get someone out. Handyman Matters bills in 15-​minute increments after an hour and they’re willing to do pretty much anything.

These are my go-​to guys that help me get stuff done around the house.

They schedule you promptly with an appointment that doesn’t waste your time waiting for them to show up.
Communication is excellent. The person dispatched to your home will call and let you know when they will arrive.
Most importantly they get the job done right with no time wasted.
