Not just the best Mexican food in town, but truly some of the best Mexican food we’ve had. Amazing burrito’s, tacos and crazy good flan that is home made. They are such nice, appreciative and gracious business owners that really appreciate being part of the community. It’s such a difference from what we’ve become accustomed to in this community.

I tried their special grill carne asada and tasted good. I was disappointed with size portion. I thought it was small compared to other places. Only 3 tortillas with the dinner. Salsa to go was old.

I RARELY give out 5 Stars. This place obviously isn’t somewhere you sit down for a holiday or take a first date because the dining area isn’t completely finished BUT it serves it’s purpose and is better than a lot of bars I’ve been to. The food is excellent. Have anything, really. The owner and who I’m guessing is his son are really nice and provide top flight service. Anything you need, fast. The food is unbelievably cheap for the amount you get (a ton!) and how good it is (excellent). Go there asap… oh, and if this place wasn’t awesome enough… the beer is cheap too! Coronas all around!

This is a re-​review from 12⁄29. After I posted my review, I was contacted by the owner, Frankie. He was very concerned about the poor service I received and the mediocre food. He asked me to come in and he would replace my meal. I stopped in and he apologized for the poor service explaining that this is not the way he runs his business, but they were short handed the night I stopped in. I left with guacamole, some yummy chicken tacos and 6 tamales on the house. The food was much better. What I was more impressed with, though, was Frankie’s attempts to save a customer. This goes a long way in my book, especially when local customers are the heartbeat of your business. Thank you, Frankie.

Their tostada is the best $ 3 lunch you will find. Everything is good. Even though there are no vegetarian options on the menu, I asked to owner if he could make me a veggie burrito and he was more than happy to accommodate my request. Make sure you bring cash as they do not accept credit cards.

Chico’s Tacos is a great place to pick up some quick, tasty Mexican food. Their prices are great and their staff is very friendly. Only disappointing thing is that they tend to run out of their tastiest items early in the evening. My husband & I love their tacos el pastor (pork tacos) but they run out often, so we have to plan accordingly if we know we’d like to have Chico’s for dinner. One bonus is that they always have fresh chips & salsa out while you’re waiting for your to-​go orders.
