Hillesheim Karate

We’ve been going to Hillsheim Karate for the past few months where my 4 year old daughter has been participating in the Toddler class that runs two afternoons each week from 5:30 to 6:00. The instructors here are so encouraging and are just the right mixture of being caring while requiring their students to be on task. I initially put my daughter in because she tends to be shy and unassertive and while she has made nice progress in those regards, she’s done that while having lots of fun and learning cool moves that she loves to show me.
The toddler instructors are also the dojo’s proprietors; Chiefs’ Monica and Michael Hillsheim. You’ll routinely see their older students here, sometimes even helping show the younger ones the ropes, and everybody is always friendly and shows great respect for one another.
They offer an after school program for the older kids as well as the toddler class (ages 3 – 5 I believe) and adult classes. Their rates are competitive with other’s in the area, are extremely reasonable and they don’t require a contract like some others do.

This is the best school in the Bay Area the instructors are really passionate and knowledgable. This school helped mold my younger brothers into men and help them become champions. I recommend this dojo to anyone of any age to learn the art. This school produces nothing but winners (champions) in the dojo, tournaments, and in life. This place is more than five stars you will not regret becoming part of the wolf pack
