The soil is not safe for gardening of leafy greens, root crops and stem crops. Plant available lead is 48 parts per million. Total lead is estimated to be about 485 parts per million. Our guidelines are that plant available lead be less than 30 parts per million. Do not ingest dust.

Oh. My. God. Wow.
Our soil is toxic. Seems to me, and I’m not good with numbers, but really toxic. I’m happy I don’t eat dirt like I’m sure I did when I was a kid.
We approached Wallace Labs when we moved to a location with an unused backyard. We love to garden and we thought this would be fantastic, which it will, once we replace the soil and use boxes instead.
Still in shock though, but happy we threw down the money for testing because at some point I’d like to have a kid and especially one without multiple limbs or multiple missing limbs from lead poisoning.
