I want to like this place but their prices are really high. $ 12 for two kebabs but if you want steak it is $ 0.75 extra each! Well at least they have a dozen dipping sauces for you to try. You will like this place if you are a chicken McNuggets fan and loves to dip each bite in a different flavor. Otherwise it is a novelty and something to try if you can’t make up your mind between burgers or Mediterranean.

LOVE this place!!! It’s so nice to have a healthy, kid friendly and super yummy alternative to fast(ish) food. Everything is good, and the quality is superb. My only complaint is that they often make mistakes on the orders, and it takes quite a while to prepare the food, even their smoothies, which are also great. So if you’re not in a hurry, and you check your order before you leave, you’re in great shape!

TL;DR Liked the sausage a lot. Chicken was good when I added some sauce to it, but steak was kind of chewy and bland. Bold BBQ and Spicy Chipotle Sauces were good, Oregano Feta was bland. They offer brown rice and healthy sides. Cool spot for lunch. Great spot for a tasty, nutritious meal. I had the three sticks combo with brown rice, cole slaw and chose steamed veggies as my side($ 14.12). For my meats I chose the steak, grilled chicken and sausage. I thought the steak was kind of bland and chewy. The chicken had a good texture, but was also a bit bland. Luckily they have a lot of sauces here to choose from so what matters most is that it is juicy and cooked well, which it was. The sausage was the only one that I thought was tasty on its own without any sauces. The brown rice was super bland, but I added a bit of buffalo sauce to make it edible. The steamed vegetables were… well steamed vegetables. Always a nutritional, bland meal. Didn’t expect any wonders there. Tried three sauces on my first visit: Oregano Feta, Bold BBQ, and Spicy Chipotle. The BBQ and Chipotle were good, but I thought their Oregano Feta sauce was too watery and bland. The staff is super helpful and nice. One complaint was that the seating area felt a bit small. Wasn’t much room to maneuver. Wasn’t a big deal though. Overall I think this is a good spot to come to when you’re looking for something satisfying and healthy. Glad I finally decided to come here. I’ve kind of been avoiding this place since their«profile photo» contains a picture of raw chicken. That can’t be good for business! Luckily the chicken was cooked well. Pros: + Sausage + Lots of sauces + Bold BBQ Sauce + Spicy Chipotle Sauce + Helpful staff + Healthy options for sides + They have smoothies and iced coffee drinks Cons: — Small dining area — Steak wasn’t very good — Oregano Feta Sauce

Good food! Good service! Good seating! Good portion sizes! Very accommodating of vegetarian and dairy free requirements! Thai sauce is so good and goes perfectly with the grilled chicken and/or grilled beef. Strawnanza and coffee toffee drinks are both very good! Definitely recommend for a quick eat! You can balance your meal with protein vegetables and some brown rice!

Stix and Straws is in a center next door to a Starbucks and this center has plenty of parking spaces. Their Tropical Smoothie is large, very tasty and did a very good job of cooling me down in the middle of a Southern California heat wave. Unfortunately, this smoothie melted and became room temperature much quicker than expected.

We come here at least once a week for their super-fresh and delicious grilled shrimp on a stick, that never disappoints. Try the battered fries, too; they are amazing. There are many outstanding sauces to try as well, but I am partial to the Thai Peanut Sauce. The owners are lovely and always make us feel right at home; it is our go-to place to eat nearby(my daughter would eat here every day if given the choice!).

Let me just say that we were way surprised by this place. Went there with a coupon thing is how we heard about it. Walked in and started looking at the menu. The staff asked us if we had been here and did we need help with what they do and the menu. We couldn’t make decisions and not just one but everyone there was friendly. We were wondering if they were all related, didn’t look like it, or just hired really well. LA!?! Friendly service!!! No way!!! Beyond that we ordered the Hawaian and Swiss burgers. And they were awesome! We couldn’t believe how good they were. Overall great place. Lastly I have never written a review on Unilocal and this place made me take the time to do so.

The food is great and the service is super! We tried ordering delivery online but couldn’t complete the transaction because our address was out of the range. The guy I talked to on the phone was so nice and took our order and delivered! Delivery was quick, our order was correct, and the food was so yummy. Will definitely be a return customer. Food is so fun when it’s on a stick and there’s so many sauces to choose from! :)

Nice concept but rather overpriced. Food quality is fair at best. Except for the sweet potatoes fries nothing was exceptional. The sauces are overly sweet and abit off(e.g. no Chipotle flavor in the chipotle sauce. Teriyaki tastes more like silan than teriyaki etc). Grilled vegetables were not good and soaked with oil(probably the grill wasn’t hot enough). Portion sizes are small for this price. Order and pay at the counter, so minimal service.

Came back here for lunch to try their fish sandwich. I got it as a combo with the Cesar salad and a drink. Veggies were fresh fresh FRESH! Caesar dressing was just the right level of garlic. The sandwich was yummy! The only *small* issue I had was this: I saw a customer come in to pick up an order. She asked for an extra dressing(maybe sauce?) and she was getting charged a whole $ 0.50 for it. I thought that was a little pricey for sauce/dressing, especially when their containers are THAT small…

My Favorite sauces: Carrot Ginger Basil Lemon Indian Spice Soy Ginger Got the 2 Stix combo with 2 crispy chicken skewers, steamed kale, and batterer French fries. The crispy chicken skewers came out hot and steamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The steamed«kale» also came with steamed cabbage and carrots too! There were lots of veggies and they were all very tender. I liked how the fries were those thick kind. Those are the best because it’s more potato-y, if you know what I mean. The sauces were lots of fun. You automatically get ketchup too, by the way. Chocolate and marshmallow shake was so good!!! Actually it’s more like a slushy– like an ice base, so it’s not too heavy. But plenty of sweetness!

My office ordered food to-go from here and I was really impressed! I selected a 2-stix lunch containing the following: — stix: grilled chicken and grilled veggies — side: house salad with basil lemon dressing — sauces: thai peanut and oregano feta I loved everything except for the oregano feta sauce(there was just something not appealing about it but it may have just not gone well with the flavors I already had). The stix were both very tasty and the house salad with basil lemon dressing was delicious(I was a little sad I had not ordered a full salad!). Even the rice tasted good. What more can you ask for?

Love this place! Food is wonderful and always fresh. Corey and his crew are super customer-focused and strive to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Delivery is always fast and the order is always right too. He is a «mad genius» when it comes to mixing favors and trying new things… Try the Spicy Dog… It’s crazy good! Oh, and the prices are very reasonable for the high quality of ingredients that are served.

This place is definitely my go to for lunch. I love their menu especially their grilled chicken skewers, side salad, fries and all the dipping sauces. Food is fresh and healthy. Love the brown rice option. Service is great. I can’t get enough of this place. Only negative I can see people complaining about is food takes 10 minutes to prep. But no complaints here… everything is fresh and served warm. Yum. Yum. Yum.

Ridiculous delivery service. DONOT order delivery from here. I placed an order for food to be delivered, and received an email confirmation. When I had heard nothing an hour and fifteen minutes later, I called to check on the order. After giving my name, the lady I spoke with said that all of her deliveries were out, so the food must be on its way. 45 minutes later I received a phone call asking if I still wanted my food(!!!). The excuse I was given was that my food order was faxed in, but that they had been busy, so they did not notice or fill it, and no one had called to confirm(recall, I had spoken to someone there 45 minutes prior). Fortunately, their only saving grace was that a woman who I can only assume is the gracious owner of this business got on the phone with me and sincerely apologized and promised to rush over our order with additional desserts added in. Out of everyone I spoke to, she was the only one who was not rude. Our food arrived another 30 minutes later, a grand total of around 2.5 hours after we placed the order. The man who delivered continued to blame the order placing service through Unilocal, though he had already admitted they had received the fax order and my phone call and had still failed to fulfill my order earlier in the day. The food itself is good, especially when enhanced by their special sauces, but nothing to write home about in my opinion. Pretty sure I will never be ordering from here again… the balance between food quality and customer service just does not balance out.

Went here with my girls for lunch yesterday. Very small restaurant in a very small plaza. Parking lot looked do-able as it was the weekend but it seems that it can be hectic during the lunch rush hours during the week. Food was good and fulfilling! I got the 3 stix combo. Your choice of 3 meats and one side, choice of brown/white rice and it comes with slaw. I choose the crispy chicken, grilled beef(cost extra), the fried crispy tofu with brown rice and a side of sweet potato fries. Meal came out to be a little over $ 15. The sauce that they have are pretty interesting as well. some better than others but worth trying so you know which one you like. We all were given 3 containers each for 3 sauces so all grabbed different ones to share and try since there was a lot to choose from. I definitely love their Thai satay sauce! It went well with the tofu and grilled beef! So whenever I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come back as it was light and fulfilling at the same time. Semi healthy besides the fried stuff but definitely delicious! Lol Pros: Friendly staff Indoor AC and seating Choice of many different sauces Cons: Pricey Some sauce like ketchup has to be asked for at the counter instead of self served

Recently I’ve been coming to Stix and Straws for their delicious burgers. I don’t get any of their stix anymore. I always get the Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Turkey. I also add avocado and bacon to it. They give you the option of getting it on white bread or wheat bread. GET the WHITEBREAD! It’s much better here. The bread kind of reminds me of the Kings Hawaiian sweet bread. Also, if you’re coming here, do yourself a favor and call in your order. It usually takes about ten to fifteen minutes for them to make your burger. If it’s busy, maybe longer. Especially if you’re ordering when you get there. Also, if you’re dining in, I would recommend sitting outside because it gets super smokey in there. Stix and Straws has the best burger in the south bay in my opinion. My only suggestion is for them to double check the order before giving it to the customer. I’ve had several times when I’d get the burger and there would be no bacon or avocado in it and the receipt shows as me getting it. Other times, I would specify that I wanted a turkey burger, but I would get a beef patty instead. Normally this would be fine, but I don’t eat beef so I can’t just eat it. That’s about it. I would recommend Stix and Straws.
