The Home Depot

A huge benefit to this Home Depot are the hours of operation. As a teacher, I can only complete work on the house/​property on the weekends, but obtain materials for the anticipated work before school during the week. Since Home Depot opens quite early, I can arrive here well before school, pick up the materials, then onto campus (es). Quite recently, fantastic yardman Harry moved two 84pound/​38kgs bags of quickrete from pallet to the back of my Ranger, saving me wear & tear on my school uniform. On another recent occasion, I needed several duplicate keys for a VAC lock. Almost as soon as I entered (and after a mug of the hot & black joe to keep me going!), Elena was beside me, handling the master key, blanks, and ensuring that the finished key opened the long-​hasped lock.
This exemplifies the associates of Home Depot; they are well-​informed, friendly professionals who are there to help. They certainly get my «Wheel of Approval»!

Went in on 03/​05/​2016 to begin the process of remodeling our kitchen and installing new flooring throughout the entire house. FIRST customer service is non existent here. I am a former employee of store 4747 in Washington state and just moved back home to Northeast El Paso. Although Lowes is closest to us, I insisted that Home Depot was the store to go to but when we arrived here, the layout was different and I didn’t have the app downloaded so we approached a young lady fixing the welcome mats in flooring and asked her where the laminate flooring was she responded «Aisle 6» and i asked where that might be, she literally pointed to her right without eye contact instead of showing us. Thank God I have worked for Home Depot and was able to give all the info to my mother for her house and preferences. We could barely reach the floor samples though and although the older gentleman we saw sitting at the service desk earlier walked past us, he didn’t offer us help at all. Your kitchen design section had 3 different ladies and only one helped. After an hour from 1730 – 1830 and still no help or «FIRST» customer service, your store missed out on thousands of dollars amd my mother suggested we just go elsewhere. The entire time we were in flooring and kitchen, the same girl that pointed, was too busy talking to her friend about some guy being divorced and every one else completely ignored us. As someone who worked in Flooring, I was embarrassed and begged my mother we try again tomorrow at another location. This store needs a refresher course on Customer Service. The other employees can thank these associates when success sharing comes around. I hope tomorrow and another Home Depot show my mother why I am so proud to have worked at store 4747 and 6551. I also hope to see a Home Depot in the Northeast soon

Went in to get some gardening stuff (I am a beginner) and the lady who helped me was patient and very friendly! This location has a great selection to choose from, the only downfall is it’s always packed! Some of the customers have a hard time understanding that if an employee is already helping someone, they are not free to help YOU! Either have more people working, or tell them they need to wait and not interrupt, I had to wait my turn too buddy!

Of the three HD’s in El Paso, this is my least favorite, and of course it is the closest. Not because of the staff, just the stock levels are low and the place is a mess most of the time.
