I went and dropped off a pair of. Of boots there last week they did a fantastic job on my boots I went and picked up the boots today. I can’t wait to wear them it’s going to be nice. They did a really good job. You can’t even tell a difference. The customer service was really good. I think they may need to distinguish which side is which, however when I walk in for the first time had I done a better job of paying attention I would have realized that the store is split up. Finally the price. I have never had a pair of shoes repaired so I am not sure what it cost or what fair market value is I paid. 8 dollars to have two pairs of shoes repaired I think that’s Awesome! Like I said not sure what it should cost. Very fairly priced I will definitely be back.

I just picked up the second of my oft-repaired Shimano cycle sandals from this fantastic shop, where cobbler-in-chief Javier gave them the extra special attention that has kept me from purchasing a third pair. My immense satisfaction with his work on numerous leather products my wife & I have brought in over the years is unmatched anywhere else. He is such an expert! Not only that, he, like me, is former Navy! He shares his shop with Pancho, who runs the jewelry/watch battery/gifts section within the store; both are extremely professional. Anyway, as a small business man, he is quite busy, which is what every commercial operation wants – more(satisfied) customers=more word of mouth=more work. So much so, he has several family members who assist him, as well as GB, a former scout in Troop 192(I was Assistant Troopmaster); GB is currently pursuing his master’s in computer engineering at one of the less well-known but top-ranked University of Texas at El Paso. What is really important to know, besides Javier’s community support, is he simply does a GREAT job. I will wear a well-worn shoe until I can get it to Javier’s skilled hands! In fact, he is so talented that there is often a line of customers waiting for his service.
