The house my wife and have purchased has turned out to be great, we do have to admit. However, the landscaping plan Saratoga is using for lack of a better term is totaling unacceptable. We were never given the opportunity to choose what we wanted for our front yard and how we wanted it to look. Now we are having to deal with poor irrigation system that is leaking to the point that my front lawn is fallen below the sidewalk. Once again a representative from Saratoga has been notified and a time is made for someone to come and fix the problem, and once again one shows up. The way Saratoga is trying to solve our problem is poor and uneffective. So for those of you who are considering buying a Saratoga home make sure you prepare yourself to deal with poor quality lanscaping.

The biggest mistake I have ever made was buying a home from Saratoga. The house was poorly made with cheap materials. I have only been in my house a year with my husband, infant baby, and myself but it looks as though we’ve been there for at least 10 years. The outside stucco is cracked, back patio concrete has begun crumbling apart, all bathrooms’ grout is cracked and crumbling, the paint they used for the window sills bubbles due to sun exposure and the drywall on the inside falls apart so easily. I know the house is still«settling», but these issues are more than that. Lastly, the customer service seems pretty good when they’re trying to make the sale, but after you sign you immediately become a nuisance. From day one I have asked for touch up paint that they said they provide you, but I still have yet to see any after numerous inquiries. I even asked if they could just give me the paint brand/name… It seems like they do not keep track of stuff like that. Overall, stay away!

Buyer beware. LGI offers up to 4k more in incentives and has better reviews. Do your research before giving them $ 1,000 down only to find out you’ve been tricked.

DONOTBUY A SARATOGAHOME! 1 star is giving this horrible company too much credit. We bought our home June 2013 and from the moment we walked in it’s been one problem after another with a headache to follow. They build them too fast with cheap labor and it shows with the lack of detail and lack of effort put in to your home. The list of things we have had fixed or redone is a mile long… mini blinds that were installed backwards, dishwasher wasn’t hooked up, wrong color counter tops, bowed cabinet doors and nails sticking out from every shelf installed, back sliding door was installed crooked and was bent, 3 months after we move in we had 2 separate roof leaks and just had our 3rd in our master bath, had our tub reinforced 4x due to sinking when filled with water, garage door didn’t open. all these problems had to be fixed with work orders and time out of my day when they should have been fixed before a buyer ever walked in the front door! I have left several reviews on their FB page which all have been deleted! Worst company EVER! I agree, the upstairs is so hot and runs at a constant 83 – 85 degrees because the thermostat is placed in the middle of a hot hallway with no vents and two large pointless windows that just bake the upstairs. Do your research and ask around.

I would have put zero stars! DONOTBUY A SARATOGAHOME!!! I am rent a saratoga home and I have never been so unsatisfied. I can not wait for my lease to be up!!! There are two ac units in this home but becasue of these dumb builders up stair it will get up to 85 degrees in the house. There is no ac vent in the hallway and heat rises so the ac runs all day long! This is only a small problem that we have had. I am seriously considering breaking my lease at this point!
