Shout out to the DJ here on Friday and Saturday night. Always playing the best old school music here in El Paso. Come check it out if you haven’t if you say him tell him I sent you. The best spot to catch the greatest old school music.

This place is great! It has a great back room that is awesome and private and the best outdoor patio in town. Love the location, easy to get to from everywhere. The owner, Mark, always makes everyone feel welcome.

This place is a mix between being divey and nice. It is a quirky place and wonderful to look at. There are the options of being inside or outside. I saw the food options and they look great but I never got the chance to try it. The beer is cheap and the bar tender was nice.

First time here. It was hard to get service outside, but the music(dj) was awesome. I loved the food truck and the brisket tacos and green Chile cheese fries were great.

Well, my «First To Review» post was deleted(I wrote a pre-review the night before my highly anticipated first-hand experience) — good work Daniel. So, I’m back to repost. Great spot overall with incredibly friendly staff. They did not have the ingredients for a buttery nipple and for the«inconvenience» they supplied us with some free drinks. Unexpected and welcomed. The interior is old school-dive — and I’ve heard this is one of the oldest bars in El Paso. The décor could use a little work, but then again, that might detract from the charm. The back patio, like all patios these days was filled with some smokers. It’s a large open area with its own bar and plenty of room to enjoy a few red beers on cool desert nights. I hope to be back soon.

Pershing Inn is very laid back. Very local flavor as well, but welcoming to newbies. Every time we have been here someone has struck up conversation with us. My only beef is the back patio is a chain smokers hangout. You would think windy El Paso would take care of that, but it seems like every time we have been in Ray’s Backyard as it is called, the smoke seeks me out like a heat seeking missile. Being an ex-smoker, I don’t complain to anyone(except Unilocalers) and enjoy the possibility I may sue the cig companies for both making me smoke and then making me breath second hand smoke… go American legal system!
