Good Coffee No 2

A big disappointment. I’ve always been a fan of Good Coffee restaurants. The one on Montana is my favorite. The failed one on Mesa deserved to fail. But this one had such great Unilocal reviews I had to give it a shot. First off parking is ridiculous. That resolved, the ambience is pretty barren but I don’t review décor. food is the reason for being and while this was OK, it was not newsworthy. No chips and salsa were offered. Like every Mexican restaurant in El Paso, they claim to have the best menudo in town. Not so, although it probably sets a record for spicy heat. It takes a lot to set my tongue on fire and they did it. The enchiladas Montado were tough and chewy and not nearly as good as several other places. Service was friendly enough but coffee refills were slow in coming. So at the end of the day the best I can say is «been there done that».

Tastey little spot! Chili con queso on the huevos rancheros was yummy! It’s their own sauce, not like the stuff you dip your chips in at Super Bowl parties.

Great food and service… Place is a little quirky but definitely recommend for breakfast.

If you’re into authentic Mexican food this is one of El Paso’s spots to get that. I had their Chicken Tacos and they were great!

I love this place. From the heart attack burger, to the menudo! The people are fantastic!
BTW its called the lucky burger, gotta have it at least once a year.

This is THE spot for menudo and huevos rancheros in Central El Paso. I cannot make the trip to the tip of Texas without cozy-​ing up to their downscale formica tables on a hung-​over Sunday morning and ordering one of the two. Possibly, there will be a day when I can tackle both in one sitting. Its undeniable perfection.
