We just wasted $ 19 via a Groupon deal for my child’s horrible manicure and pedicure. The lady who did it was super sweet, but overall, the experience was terrible, so much so it was almost comical. The color smeared immediately… I should’ve just painted her nails at home. I would think that at a salon specializing in kids, there would be kid-sized flip flops and toe separators as well as a nail dryer. There is no way a child will sit still long enough for her nails to dry naturally. We have not gotten a haircut here, but there is no way I’d consider it now.

Do not take your children to this place for a haircut. To start off it is completely over priced. I went in with my daughter for her first haircut and the hair dresser insisted that I get the«1st haircut package.» At first I was hesitant because it cost $ 25.95 but she kept insisting. She told me that we would receive her hair, a certificate, a toy and balloon. I finally agreed and when she was done and I was ready to pay they didn’t have any balloons. The young man at the cashier goes next door and buys a .50 balloon at Dollar Tree. Then they misspell my daughters name on the certificate and have no more copies. They try to give me a certificate of excellence the same ones teachers give students, those you can also but at Dollar Tree in a package of 50. The toys we were offered were cheap and all for ages 3 and over. You would think first haircut that they would have baby appropriate toys. They had me waiting 10 minutes to pay because they were looking for more certificates. I told them can I just pay for the haircut and go but the hairdresser insisted that I had to pay for this«1st haircut special package.» She tried giving me a certificate that was a Xerox copy in black and white and that’s when I became extremely furious. I told them I was going to pay an extra $ 11.00 for a .50 balloon, ziplock bag, .50 age inappropriate toy and a Xerox copy of a certificate. Finally 10 minutes later I was able to just pay for the haircut and go. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Such a rip off and bad customer service. Btw I tried calling the owner Reyna Chavira to complain but she doesn’t answer her calls. If I could give this place negative stars I would! I hope they go out of business for ripping people off!

Love this place. They have chairs that look like cars for the kids to sit in so its a great place to take ur kids when u have a hard time getting their haircut somewhere else. The girls are patient and friendly with the kids.

PARENTSBEWARNED: This place is a chop shop. By chop shop I mean they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to cutting hair. You take the time to explain to them how you want your child’s hair to look and it falls on deaf ears. They have the nerve to hang a poster on the wall with examples of children’s haircuts that I would bet the money I wasted there they can’t even do. Our son has beautiful curly hair. All we wanted were the sides and back to be tapered and the top to be trimmed. Instead this lady takes the clippers and goes to town. I thought we were at PETCO. I never felt like crying and vomiting at the same time until that moment. It’s like she stole from us part of what made our son so cute and adorable. All we could do was watch it happen and then have to pay for it! Yes, I know my sons hair will grow back eventually. All I’m saying is do your research before you just waltz into some random shop because it looks kid friendly. Or just cut it yourself so that way you have no one else to blame and you save money.

I took my almost-3 year-old daughter here for a simple haircut. When we walked in on a weekday after 10, the salon was empty, so no worries about a wait, though they have toys and a chalkboard to entertain you if you do wait. My daughter was very excited to see the«vehicles» that are available to sit in while you get your hair cut. She picked the race car and our hairdresser turned on Netflix and let her pick the video to watch. All in all, it took about half an hour and my daughter was well behaved considering it took a half hour sitting in one place. I give the thumbs up to the salon for the kid friendly way that it’s decked out. I was disappointed with the service as our hairdresser, while polite, didn’t go out of her way to learn my daughter’s name, didn’t talk to her during the cut, and nobody said goodbye to us when we left. Not a lot of smiles here or kid-friendly enthusiasm, either. Haircut was average since after a wash the next day, I found a few strands that were missed and had to trim myself, but this isn’t a deal breaker for me. I would take my daughter here again, but would prefer to find somewhere with friendlier staff who seemed happy to see us and liked children, which is what I expected given it’s a kid-specific salon. Kid cut is $ 15, shampoo is $ 5 as of April 2014. The pricing board advertises cuts for adults as well as mani/pedi.

his place is great and Berenice is awesome she’s patient and works well with kids. Right now there having a special for new customers. It was my sons first haircut and she made it a wonderful experience for him. I also love how the place is geared toward children with movies and toys. I’ll definitely will be bringing my son back for his haircuts!
