I stayed on the 3rd floor odd numbered room with a beautiful view of i10, photo attached, the sound from the road made sleeping all but impossible. I used white noise on my phone and had the ac run all night to dampen the sound to no avail. I could hear the traffic in the shower with the ac and TV on. Not enough or no sound dampening material used in this hotel. There is no point reviewing anything else if the Marriott can not get the one thing you need from a hotel right– sleep.

Clean, comfortable and quite. I would highly recommend staying here. The staff was extremely nice. We had to go to El Paso on short notice to attend a family member’s funeral. I took my mother and father and was praying that the rooms would be good. We are Marriott platinum elite members and always stay at Marriotts. I can honestly say that i have yet to be disappointed. Not only was my mother burying her sister but it also landed on my mother’s birthday. If she had to stay in a hotel on her birthday I at least wanted it to be a good experience for her, considering the circumstances. Our lodging was easy and very comfortable. I read that others had experienced road noise but neither my parents, whose room was on the freeway side, nor myself had any complaints related to external noise. Great job Fairfield! Thank you! BTW i had no issues with the internet. I used the free wi-fi and was able to stream movies on my iPad. It might cost a little more(not a lot more) to stay there but the peace of mind is worth it to me.

Horrible, the internet didn’t work, the staff had no clue as to how to help and the tech support they referred me to was no help either! Thank GOD I only had to stay here one night!

I’m a platinum elite Marriott member and have stayed over 150 nights in Marriott’s this year. I have seen my share of hotels and I have stayed in all 3 Marriott properties here in El Paso. I think they all have different perks. This is a great and SAFE location. Walmart is across the street as is a Cinemark movie theater and a classic MUSTVISIT Mexican restaurant, Leo’s. Its on Tue west side of town which is a bit of a drive(for El Paso) to downtown, etc. You can take 54 through the mountains for a scenic drive or to avoid crazy traffic. The lobby is nice and clean, the room was not as big as others but clean. Bed is comfortable and its pretty quiet being very close to the freeway. There is a Spring hill Suites in the same parking lot if you’re staying longer than a few nights. You can’t go wrong!!!

The hotel lobby was colorful and clean. The room was also clean. My issue was not with the room. This is probably the 40th night this year I have stayed in a hotel I prepaid for my stay with AMEX travel. As I usually do after traveling, I checked my AMEX account on line to make sure there were no unauthorized charges. To my surprise, there was a $ 50 charge from the hotel. I called to find out what the charge was for. To my dismay, they told me a blanket was missing from the room. I told them I did not take their blanket. I was told to call back the next day to speak to the manager. I did that but he was not there. I asked them to have him call me. He did not call me. I have protested the charge with AMEX. All bedding that was in the room when I arrived was in the room when I left. This is a scam. There is no way for me to disprove the charge. I will not stay at this hotel again.

The staff was fantastic and the clean rooms were great. I highly recommend if you are just passing through or need a good comfortable nights sleep.
