Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. That just about describes this restaurant. I read the reviews and decided to give this place a whirl. Wide variety on the menu and a very pleasant staff. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and the four chicken taco plate with rice and refried beans. Trust me, this was a lot of food to put down but it was fab to the last bite. I will be back to this place and may even bring a few with me so they can enjoy this terrific place! Oh, and according to one review they supposedly give a discount for paying with cash this is NOT true.

Wow! This place is great! Huge tasty burritos for cheap. This place can’t be beat for value without going to Mexico. Amazing quality and taste. Go here! You won’t regret it.

As far as the food goes, best Mexican restaurant in the northeast! I am very picky with my Mexican food and nothing ever seems to disappoint me other than the service. The owner is such a nice man. I go every weekend. The lady at the counter is very rude and doesn’t know how to smile. The girl with the bottom lip piercing is also rude. It’s funny because when the owner is there, my burrito comes out within 5 minutes and when the lady and girl are there, my burrito takes 20 minutes. For a burrito!!! I can hear the women gossiping loudly in the back. I never have this problem when the owner is there. I also call ahead for my order, and they never answer the phone. I think the owner should get a new staff if he doesn’t want angry customers.

The chicken Ranchero is bees-knees. I add green chillis and avocado. I absolutely love this burrito. The chicken is juicy and so flavorful. The people who work there are all very personable and polite. I just honestly can’t complain about a $ 4 burrito that fills me up and tastes amazing!

Gross. The food is disgusting. Order the wings. Dry as hell. No sauce on them whatsoever. Also order two tortas. Worse thing we have ever tasted. Customer service was bad. Wait time was bad. Not worth the price. Way over priced. Very glad competition is finally showing up in the neighborhood.

Their taco plate was awesome but their nacho supreme is the best! I got half and half chicken and steak.

Had the steak ranchero for lunch. Pretty good and at a great price. Going to try breakfast next. Great pit stop right off route 54.

Been here a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. Inexpensive and large portions. Chile is delicious. Tortas are awesome — I have had the grilled chicken and the beef machaca and egg. What else is there to say?! They also have a drive through, but don’t just go through it. Call your order in first and then drive through the window, otherwise it will take about 10 minutes. I made that mistake the first time I went and just sat at the window. I see other patrons doing the same thing occasionally. But yes, go here. You won’t regret it.

I’ve been going here for years so I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed it yet. They have an assortment of everything but I’ll start with their tortas. Colitas de Pavo is great. Their combo tortas are great. They’re all, in general, huge and very filling. Some of my other favorites are their deluxe nachos, their chicken strips, the taco salad, burritos(all are good and huge). The order is super friendly and their staff is always top notch. You have to try this place if you’re in the NE.

We ordered the wings with the flavors mild & green chile. The package was 50 wings with 2 large fries. Half of each flavor. They were very good and the fries were perfect. The entire meal fed all 5 of us. Definitely ordering these again, maybe different flavors next time.

The food wasn’t bad. The only thing that bothered me is when I asked for lemon & they asked if lime would suffice(and it did), the girl brought it to me cut in half(which was fine) but laid it on the table. No plate, napkin, bowl, etc. on the table! Smh. Good help is hard to find.

Unilocal has great reviews and a few people have told me about this place so we decided to check it out. Place was clean and empty when we came in on Monday afternoon. Ordered chile verde burrito, steak Torta and flauta plate. The guy taking the order was fast and friendly. A little tip: you get 5% discount for cash purchases so bring your $$. Got our food in less than 5 minutes. Let’s start with the fact that the food looks good. Torta: according to the guy at the counter, it is the best selling Torta. I liked that the bread was soft but there’s nothing spectacular about it. The meat wasn’t seasoned properly and it was put together with some mayo, slices of avocado, a tomato slice and iceberg lettuce. Meh! However, the fries that came with it are properly cooked and seasoned. Chile Verde burrito: it’s looked good, it tasted good. It seemed the beef has been simmering in the chile verde all day. It was so tender and flavorful. Flauta plate: the cheese on top of the beans bothered me. It looked like face cheese and it didn’t even melt. There no flavor on the beans and the rice. We didn’t eat it. The flautas are crispy. The good soft crisp you expect but the meat inside had no flavor what so ever. Plus side? It’s cheap. Will I be back? Questionable.

Worst owner ever. Went to pick up a call in order from a extremely rude owner. I told him I would not return if he was going to continue to be rude. He didn’t care. Better food other places in El Paso!

The barbacoa was delicious! Great prices, convenient, and tasty. My husband got the flauta plate and instantly devoured it. The barbacoa burrito was filled to the max!

I really like how they have the Family Packs. We got to sample the flautas, tacos, and enchiladas. Everything was good. My favorite of the three was the enchiladas. And their guac is perfect! I’m excited to return and try some of the other menu options. Great place to dine-in or takeout. Service was good as well.

The jury is still out on this place. One thing is for sure: the French fries are the definition of «meh». The tortas are either really good or really bad making this place the perfect place to come when everywhere else is closed. Perfectly acceptable. Barely.

I had a quick trip to El Paso a few weeks ago, and I was very lucky to get this suggestion from my girlfriend. This hidden gem is located in North East El Paso and has been there for over 8 years. It’s got quite a bit of room too, so that was nice. The cashier was very friendly and offered to answer any questions we had. It was about 2:30 when we stopped in and not too busy. I went with the Cubana Torta Combo($ 7.75) that included a side of fries and a fountain drink with one refill. The sandwich was great. the Pork was juicy yet slightly caramelized with a bit of crunch. The cheese and chili’s really made for a nice flavor profile. The french fries were piping hot and salted perfectly. All of it went great with a Dr. Pepper. We also shared the Beef Taco Plate($ 6.99). The tacos were soft and tasty. Not chewy or crunchy, but just right. The beef was flavorful and with a little bit of hot sauce, also tasted great. The beans and rice were spot on and made for nice sides. Tip: All the food is packaged to go, so it makes it really easy if you’re in a hurry. If you’re ever in search of a good Torta, this is the place.

Clean, fairly corporate casual appearance inside even though it’s not a chain. It seemed like a surprisingly competently run restaurant for a strip mall mom and pop shop in this town. I had a pair of breakfast taquitos and they were quickly served and competently made. They didn’t blow me away, but I obviously wasn’t trying any of the popular menu items. I would definitely try it again and expect I’d upgrade a star if I tried some more menu items. Biggest downside: They accept credit cards, but multiple signs are posted designed to make you feel like you’re murdering their children’s future if you actually use one and impose merchant fees on them. On the upside, they have a 5% cash discount on orders of more than $ 20.
