I saw at at long last there was a decent deal on chicken. 10 pieces mixed for $ 9.99. When I got home I found out that the 10 pieces consisted of four wings three thighs and three drumsticks. No white meat whatsoever. The chicken was OK but not near as good as many competitors like churches.

Great fried chicken and fried gizzards. Prices are decent and their product was excellent. When I was there they had a special in their sweet tea also(32 cents for a 32 oz tea). All in all it was a great experience

Chicken was good. According to my wife and kids, it tastes a lot like Churches chicken, but for me it did not. I love white meat, typically it tends to be dry, but theirs was juicy and full of flavor. Their fries were good, dinner rolls and mashed potatoes with white peppered gravy was good as well. I gave a 4 star due to their mac and cheese being flavorless. Not sure if it was how they made it that day or always tastes like that, but literally tasted like water. Very bland. Aside from that, I recommend it, priced just any other chicken place. Staff is very friendly.

Definitely worth trying. My only complaints is that my experiences have been hit or miss. Sometimes my chicken is fantastic but other times it’s bland.

Great fried chicken strips and several other delicious fried goodness. The fried okra and corn bites are also a treat. The brownies are also recommend if you have a sweet tooth. I recommend you order the largest sweet tea possible!

Love the chicken breasts there. A bit pricy but worth it. Service is a bit bad. Just poorly trained high school students. Hope the managers shape up and train their staff to provide better service.

Classic Texas fried chicken and sides. Everytime I eat Bush’s, it takes me back to the days growing up and eating at different fried chicken places in Fort Worth. Can’t go wrong with a 2 piece, Mac & cheese, baked fresh dinner roll, hot & crunchy jalapeño and that Texas famous sweet tea. Due to the limited options of good olé Texas fried chicken in El Paso, Bushs is the best in the city. Good to have a Texas chain make us feel like True Texans in El Paso.

Well, this was my first visit here and possibly my last. The place was clean, the sweet tea was awesome, the service was fair; but the food? Lackluster at best. We ordered a #7. The potatoes, cole slaw and chicken were quite bland. Nothing special or unique about it. I had high hopes for this place, but now I understand why the place was empty when we walked in.

Delicious!!! Chicken tenders are juicy and tender! The rolls and sweet tea are the BEST!

I went to Bush’s for the first time ever and I got sick! I had to go home from work the next day because I was throwing up and about to faint with the cold chills. I’ve never felt this way before. I’m guessing the chicken wasn’t cooked well and the«sandwich» was only a bread and one strip cut in half without any condiments. Worst place I’ve ever been to!

I still haven’t decided if it’s good or bad that they just opened a fried chicken joint so close to my house. To make it worse, their products aren’t half bad. It looks like they JUST opened, with all pennant flags surrounding the building. It looked a little busy inside, so I decided to take advantage of their drive-thru. It was also busy at their drive-thru, but it’s three lanes, so I was able to sneak into one of the shorter lanes. It’s not your traditional drive-thru set up, so you have employees running around to the vehicles taking orders. It’s great in terms of expediency, but since they’re LITERALLY running around, you have to be extra careful. Their menu is posted on the building, closer to the very left lane, so if you aren’t sure what you want, it may be difficult to read the menu since you have to peer through/around the other vehicles. I ordered a three piece meal with fries and a drink. The only issue I had was the ice took up about 80% of my drink –no big deal. The food was also a little pricier than other similar establishments, but it has the advantage of being only a couple miles away from me, so they’ll get my business.

Great fried chicken! Very juicy and good portions. This is a fried chicken joint with the usual sides of fries, rolls, Mac-n-cheese…and some really tasty sweet tea. They also do chicken tenders. Meals come in your typical combos, or you can make late orders for family style and pick-up a gallon of sweet tea. Reasonable priced and clean place. Drive-thru is different, no intercom terminal, they come out and take your order.
