I was turned away at the door when I tried to take a basic yoga because I was pregnant. Even after explaining that I was an experienced yogi with no health problems, they still would not let me take the class. For a studio to turn away a woman for being pregnant was very disappointing. I can understand the issue of liability, but if they have proper insurance and release waivers, it really shouldn’t be an issue. I can’t take this studio seriously and will not recommend it to my friends.

Best yoga & pilates, bar none! I have been doing yoga most of my life & I adore this studio & the new one also on Festival. All the instructors are so professional & helpful. Great non-judgmental practice for all ages, level of experience, & fitness. Excellent!

I was really excited when I saw a special for unlimited yoga for $ 45 for the month of January. It was easy to purchase the pass on Ananda’s website, and I could even sign up for classes online or on their app. However, the yoga classes were incredibly disappointing. I took several of the«Basics and Beyond» and«Hatha All Level» classes with as many different instructors as possible, but I was consistently let down. I have been doing yoga for several years, and I found the instructors here to be unclear and generally unhelpful. I also strongly disliked the vibe of the studios; they use too much incense, which irritated my skin and made it difficult to breathe, and the instructors set up the rooms in a way that uses the space poorly and made it generally uncomfortable. Overall, this place was a huge disappointment.

This is the best yoga studio in town! When I moved to El Paso 2 years ago, I fell in love with this place. Now I’m here every day! Great ashtanga inspired classes from excellent teachers! Plus, $ 5 classes for college students! You should also try the Pilates classes… They are amazing!

So i would have to say, this is the best pilates studio in el paso. You don’t think you’ll sweat in the 50 min. pilates class and trust me you will, or else you’re doing it wrong. I’ve been hooked on the pilates/barre classes and i can’t stop, which isn’t really hurting anything but my wallet. Regardless, it’s the same as LA prices. I would know, i moved from there, and at least the instructors and people working at the front desk are nice and approachable. Besty and Gilberto are the owners, and WOW. betsy’s classes are always challenging. LOVE it… why else would I go? Not sure why the other reviewer gave such a low rating, but ananda is what I would expect a studio to be– challenging, professional, and affordable. Gilberto and Odette are just as challenging. Thanks for the amazing workout! it says a lot that i’m posting this, ‘cuz i never write a review on Unilocal, though i live by it. Half of me is kicking myself in the butt that i’m writing this because i don’t want the word to get out about ananda since the classes would be all packed, but hey, i can’t be selfish. if only there would be more studios like Ananda.

The best yoga and pilates studio in the el paso region! World class, very friendly to beginners and everyone. As beautiful as any in new york, San Francisco or L.A. But at el paso prices! Love it!
