Honestly, I come here for the fried fish tacos reminds me of San Diego. Their mozzarella cheese sticks are tasty as well

Cheap beers, great patio, perfect bar close to the upper valley. I’m in love! I can’t wait to come here more and idk why I didn’t come earlier! 5⁄5!

Good prices. Great tacos and beers. The best post derby practice joint in town on the west side.

My favorite thing about Aceitunas is that they participate in «Yappy Hour» every third Saturday of the month from 4 – 8 pm. $ 1 of every drink or food item goes back to the Humane Society. Best part — you can bring your dog(s) that day! Aceitunas is open but deceptively smaller than it appears. The bar is mostly wood based. The inside merges into an enclosed, uncovered outside area. There are small two seat tables and larger wooden tables under the covered area and patio furniture for the uncovered. There is also a fire pit and koi river(fish included) outside which is cool. It can get uncomfortably cramped and hard to find a seat during peak hours though. The noise level can reach deafening, particularly if a band is playing. The service is alright. Most servers are always very friendly but it just seems like maybe they have too many tables or something. Some servers can be neglectful, especially if you’re not a regular. I say that fairly because I’ve seen it firsthand. It is a bit confusing as to why this is labeled a «beer garden» since there isn’t a real focus on beer selection. The food is okay, not terrible, but not«wow». Food prices range from $ 5 to $ 10. It comes out in a rectangular paper bowl, the kind you get from a concession stand. Oddly, there is sometimes a food truck near the entrance too. I think if you’re wanting to grab a drink during a lazy afternoon or early evening, this is a good place for that. And if you have a dog, make sure to swing by during«Yappy Hour».

This low-key establishment is quite spacious and airy on the inside, with pleasant vibes from the wood tables and fountains. However, this place isn’t a beer garden, in that there is minimal emphasis on beer. That being said, it’s nice for a relaxing drink in the evening, especially when the weather is warm. The food is delicious, my friends enjoyed their dishes. We will definitely come back.

In El Paso for 4 years before discovering this gem, but we’ll be back. A wonderful outdoor space for music or talking. Inside bar very clean with a great ping pong table. Drinks reasonable, great music on weekends. Food could use a little work… the fish tacos looked good, but the wings were pretty unremarkable

I’ve had a great time at this place on a few different occasions. It’s nothing fancy, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s a simple bar, mostly open air and outdoors. They often have live music on the weekends. It’s a laid back beer garden type environment which hits the spot when you’re just trying to relax and enjoy some good conversation with friends. Bottom line: Simple can be a great thing sometimes.

Cute birds are all over the place, and the el paso charm is right here. Great bands, good drinks and cool people. Very colorful.
