Shambhala Massage

My friend and I been wanted to try this place, since it have good review.
Appointment recommended — 1^st time we went there they are busy, so I make appointment for 2^nd time. 4 or 5 cars on parking lot that including the workers. When I get there I still have to wait. I think they have enough workers as other places I had went to.
Massage — is so light that I barely feel it even I told the I wanted hard. My friend have the same experience. Maybe, they are tired since toward end of the day. But we are there at 7:30 pm. No Excuses for not get what we needed.
Price — is more pricey than other places. $ 1 free to use credit card. 1^st they told me to pay before we start. 2^nd time, I asked they said is okay to pay after. Hmm.
I probably wont go back. So many other place is better with lower price.

I entered and chose the 50 min foot massage + 10 min back massage for $ 20.
The lady asked me to pay in advance, which seemed strange. I’ve been getting foot massages in the SGV for around 9 years and never been asked to pay in advance. Well, the massage was good, so whatever.
You sit semi-​reclined while your feet soak. The lady started by massaging my scalp, and it was the best I’ve ever had. Then my arms and hands. Next were my feet. It was all medium pressure, and very relaxing. Next were legs, and finally I turned over for my back. She used her elbows a bit, and some rubbing with her hands. It was all good.
I’ve found that the quality at these places varies. I’m prone to carpal tunnel and some seem to be able to tell. They dig into the arm and wrist, and something about it relieves me for months. A couple of times, I’ve been massaged by people who actually seem to be trained in reflexology, showing me a chart, and the way they massage the feet is different. It freaking hurts, but they really hit very tender spots. Sometimes, they feel knots in your back and try to work them out. It’s all painful, and far from relaxing. I’m satisfied that I got a good, relaxing massage from this place.
For those complaining about the massages at these places, you get what you pay for. If you want real acupressure or a therapeutic massage, go find a real professional and pay your $ 60-​$ 100.

I stopped by Shambhala on my way from work a few days ago to check out the place. I saw the good review on Unilocal.I was greeted by YoYu gave me a tour and explained the pricing. The pricing was competitive with other establishments. YoYu was very professional. The place was clean and comfortable.
I returned today for my first Shambhala massage and I was not disappointment. YoYu and Cindy were very professional and friendly. My back has never felt better after the 1 hour body massage. I will be going back for their 1 hour foot massage in the very near future.

Come and check this place out! Their therapist are really professional and nice! The price was fair enough for this high leveled service. I had the full body massage and I feel every single bones relaxed. Worth every penny！Must come back!

This is not the place you want to go if you need nice strong massage! I have half foot massage and half body. The lady went in and out the room like 4 – 5 times doing what I don’t know. Def won’t be back!

Came here on a Saturday, without an appointment, I was told I had to wait 10 minutes, which I think was reasonable for a walk-​in, it ended up being only 5.
Yoyu came out and placed my feet in a tub with hot water, made sure I was comfortable, then proceeded with my massage.
I got the $ 20 1 hr feet and back massage. She started by massaging my head and neck, then did each one of my feet. After that she did my back. Her style of massage is what I like, sort of deep tissue. It was very relaxing, she is great. I would definitely be back again. The location is in a small shopping center, nothing fancy, the place is clean and quiet; and the staff is really nice.

My first visit was amazing can’t wait to come back. I had $ 20 foot massage it was very relaxing by Yuyu.

Today was my first visit to this place and I felt so relaxed and refreshed. This place is very quiet and clean and people who works there are very nice and professional. I have been to many other places but I think Shambhala Massage is the best one so far. Next time I will take my family there. If you are looking for a great relaxing and invigorating massage you have got to at least try this place.

You can tell when a massage therapist is just going through the motions. You can likewise tell when she cares. That was most certainly the case here with Yoyo who knows what she’s doing. She was professional and attentive. The facility was nice and I will certainly return.

This place is very clean and quiet. It is a great please to relax. The massage therapist is very nice and did a very good job. I highly recommend this place to everyone who want to relax from their working day. Will come again.
