El Pescador Bar & Grill

On a terribly hot day like today and being that it’s Father’s Day, I expect the least a restaurant can do to accommodate their customers is to keep the a/​c on. It’s only about 5 degrees cooler inside and they turn on the a/​c only for about 15 minutes then turn it off. Ridiculous!!!

I have been coming to this restaurant ever since ithas opened and this place has never disappointed in their food is really good very flavorful their sauce is really good I’ve never been to karaōke nights so I don’t know how that is but for lunchtime to have a large menu good prices I would definitely recommend this place

This is pretty good and the prices are very cheap. We went here for cinco de mayo and the wait was very crazy. The host my husband that it was gonna be 2.5?hrs but we decided to wait on it so we got drinks at the bar and that soothe our wait for 2.5 hrs. We bought two michaladas for $ 12.00! Wow that’s very good… then a lil while later our name was called and we got to see and eat… Then we checked out the side bar where they had a more night club bar type of ambiance. That area was cool and chill also. I would return to chill and hang out with some friends. the only reason why I gave it a 4 star was the fact that they say is outside and for the first part and it was raining so we got wet too they brought us inside. After that we were very well taken care of.

I’m going to keep it simple this place serves great authentic Mexican food. The exotic drinks are on point, my favorite is the long island iced tea lol you have to try from here. The customer service is great and when they make mistakes they immediately fix them.

I took my momma here for lunch yesterday and it was truly a satisfactory experience. I ordered the Mar y Mar (4 shrimp and fish fillet) and my mom the huachinango fish plate. Ohhh myyy lanta!!! The portions were enourmous. My plate was accompanied with rice, refried beans, green salad garnish, scoop of potato salad served with corn or flour tortillas. Too much to polish off in one seating, so we took leftovers home. They have a lunch menu with excellent choices priced at $ 8.95! For seafood?!! Yup… and great choices at that.
Full bar, great service and ample seating. I liked the music playing, however, it was a bit loud. Tone it down guys. I want to chat with my mami and want to not yell! hehe…
I will be going back… yummm!

Randomly ended up at this place while I was in the area with a friend. We came after the lunch rush and ordered the daily special, which I believe that day was enchiladas de mole… can you say YUUUUMMMM?!! We also had the aguachiles and they were absolutely a crazy fire but great goodness on my palate! Will definitely go back if I’m ever on that side of town. Two thumbs up!

Came here to have lunch with my boyfriend and his family this past Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t very busy when we sat, which was about 2:30pm, so I’m guessing we missed the lunch rush. Everything on their menu looked really good. It took me awhile to figure out what I got but I ended up choosing the carne de tampiquena. It’s the grilled skirt steak, with a chicken enchilada w/​mole sauce, beans, rice (got them on the side for my boyfriend to eat) nopales salad, and a mixture of veggies with a cream sauce, it was good!!! I enjoyed every single bite! My boyfriend ordered a diablo drink, which he liked but wished it was a bit stronger, a fish taco, he said that was good, and shrimp ceviche/​cocktail. He also like that too. They also give you free chips and salsa which I’m thinking are pretty good since my boyfriend and his family ate quite a bit of them. My boyfriend wants to come back because they have different specials every day and he wants to try them out. I would just order the same thing again because it was just that good!!! Like everyone says! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! =)

I had a carne asada burrito and they over cooked the meat so it was really crunchy. I
First time I had a crunchy asada burrito and hated it. They took a long time to give us the check too and it wasn’t even busy! Drinks are good but other then that, the food isn’t great.

It’s our second time here and Crystal was our waitress again. She is really nice and attentive. Food is great and let’s not talk about the drinks, love them… You have to try the mango and strawberry margaritas (blended)
Both time we’ve been here have been on Monday, it’s never busy on Mondays, so it’s fast service:)

Thursday night… if your looking to enjoy a beer/​drink, have good conversation, stay away from the bar after 7:30 karaōke is extremely loud. Waitress can’t hear what your ordering, you’ll find yourself screaming at each other trying to understand one another… Manager there is a young guy that doesn’t have consideration when you ask to simply lower the volume at which time he couldn’t hear me, so once again had to shout it out. Bar area is a confined space to have the system so loud. You’ll walk out with your ears ringing!!! It reminded me of why we stopped coming here, convenient location but I’ll continue to go out of town. Good luck to you

Great food and drinks, but damn that karaōke. It’s advertised as one night a week, but every night I go in there is ALWAYS karaōke which might be okay if it wasn’t for the volume being extremely LOUD. I found myself having to shout at my waiters and the people that I’m with. By the time you walk out of the place your eardrums are pounding and thanking you for the silence.
Summary: The karaōke (every night) is deafening and keeps me away from this place after 7pm.

Second time coming here during our one hour lunch. Great food, great music. Fast service. There’s lunch specials and happy hour with good portions. Our server was Luna. Great customer service. Very attentive. In and out in 40 minutes.

My friend and I ate in the bar area, the service was amazing! We had two guy servers and they were always attentive! The margaritas were on happy hour and they were tasty! I recommend! We got a lot of the appetizers but the nachos were the best!!!

Yeaaaa Mexican Food!!! Good quality. Good flavor. Nice service. Worth the price. The mango margarita is excellent. And finally a bilingual menu LOL haha I know it’s crazy but when you bring your white friends to a Latino Restaurant is hard to explain what the food is all about. And the pictures in the menu helps a lot.

Estubimos por mas de 1hora no nos llevaron chips no salsa cuando despue nos tomaron la orden las fajitas no tenian savor no nos llevaron tuallitas y nunca se acerco la mesera aver si ocoupabamos algo solo se acerco a retirar los trastes y el manejador nomas sentado platicando muy mal servicio. Never come back.

Great food. Great service. Erika always treats us well as well as the rest of the restaurant and bar staff.
Happy hour is very generous in the food and pricing. Wish I could remember the schedule though. I’ve been dining here about once a week now at all hours and different days when I crave authentic Mexican food and so far I have no reason to complain.
Tons of variety from molcajetes, fajitas and plenty of seafood cocktails to choose from. Give them a try.

Not sure why some people got their panties in a bunch. Our waiter was checking in regularly ensuring we always had what we needed. We sat at the bar area, not sure if that made a difference. We ordered Micheladas and cazuelas (cazuela is fruit punch with real fruit, agave, tequila, rum, and rainbows with stars).

We ordered the loaded oysters with ceviche which were okay. I’d stick to the traditional oysters and drizzle some lime and tapatio. The ceviche was okay – a little boring and bland for me.
The mixed tostada (tostada mixta; assorted diced seafood) was delicious! Reminded me of the Sinaloa style seafood.
I will definitely return to catch soccer games and football games.
Oh yeah, they also have mariachi! That was totally unexpected!

I’ve been to a couple locations for this restaurant. And what I love best about this place are the generous portions and the great presentation. I really enjoy their fruity and huge margaritas!
I brought my mother in law for Mother’s Day and she definitely enjoyed their mango margarita it was amazing!
The staff is always very friendly unfortunately there’s always a long wait.
Regardless of the weight I can say it’s definitely worth it I would recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood and delicious Mexican food!

This place continues to provide great food and service.
Today, I had their lunch combo with ceviche and soup. It was delicious and I think I will be getting that from now on! One day I hope to try their other lunch specials… maybe.
