PRO-BUILT Construction

Check out contractor license. Pays under table to unlicensed workers. Ruined my hallway with tar drippings. Took our $ then when I pointed out how job is half done, flooded me with legal paperwork. 10k to have Brent Jack put in a shower stall that he actually sent another company to come do. Then did not complete job and I had to hire another company to come finish. (on top of the 10k) Wish I had looked at complaints on contractor license. This business has been Brent Jack construction, Douglas construction etc. Change the name and have no history on web or ratings or information.
Voted Best in El Dorado Hills (per website)? By whom? A paid subscription website somewhere? Fly by night–
I am a human writing this not a friend or computer. I actually have other reviews. I am disabled and can’t do the work myself.
I am in Sacramento and whenever had a question or issue he said he did not have call signal in El Dorado Hills or wherever he was at.
Had conversations with workers while here and they were paid under table and not covered if hurt.
He will probably email and threaten legal action against me. Bring it on! I have well documented pictures, dates, and conversations. We did not want to drag things out. Here I just don’t want someone else to be victim of his «Church going» self-​proclaimed promises.

I have used PRO-​BULIT for two different projects. The first project was back in 2011 for a master bathroom renovation in Folsom. It turned out perfect.
I’m now in EDH and PRO-​BUILT Construction recently completed the install of my backyard. I could not be happier! Brent Jack and his crew worked with me every step of the of the way and Brent never tired of hearing my ideas. He was always honest and straightforward in his assessment of what amenities would be worth the money. His guys were always at work when they were scheduled and cleaned up after each day. Very respectful of my neighbors, too.
Brent was a true partner in the construction of my backyard; he wants his clients to be happy with the entire process. It was evident to me that customer satisfaction is a #1 priority for PRO-​BUILT. Most definitely will use Brent Jack again.

Excellent contractor. Talented, thorough, honest, great value – we can’t say enough positive things about Brent and his crew. There is a reason Pro-​Built is voted the No. 1 Contractor in El Dorado County. Lucky for us he works in Sac. County too.
