Goma and Fama are two sisters who work in this shop in El Cerrito. There very professional and taylor your hair to fit ur personality and style. They provide hair at the shop which is great bc if your not knowledgeable in hair like me they have a great selection they can help you pick from. Another great thing is if one of them is done with a client, they will help each other. The also take care your hair from beginning to end making sure you walk out the shop like the brand new women you feel like. I’m so glad I found this place. I will continue to come here and get my hair styled. There very humble but they can for sure get down on some braiding and there braid time for me for thin braids took 8hrs they have a great turn out time for braiding. THEY ARE QUICK.

So made a appointment 2 days ago for this morning at 9:00 am for my daughter because school starts on monday I was sitting in my car at the shop at 10 mins to 9 and i JUST left about 5 mins ago. I have a real issue with people making appointments and not being there on time. I assume as I pulled off that the lady finally came walking like she doesn’t have a care in the world. Another client was waiting also, but I assume she didn’t mind the wait but I do. Time is money and money is time. Maybe I’ll try again another time or I will go to out my way to go to Oakland to my daughter’s old braider. Too bad because the shop was near my house.

I am so happy you have your salon! First off, Sarah has been doing my hair since I was a little girl and she was in Oakland. I was so surprised to come back from my stay in NYC to find she has her own shop! It’s amazing!
Sira is professional, her braids are NEAT, they are painless when being installed, and she takes careful attention to detail with her craft. Her prices are always reasonable and definitely worth it. Your hair will look good for WEEKS! The best part about it is that SIRA BRAIDS FAST! You will not be sitting in the shop all day, and you will still come out with some amazing hair! She is the only one who TRULY can give me full, luscious micro human hair braids that just SLAY!
When I got back from NYC, I took out my old braids, waited a few weeks, and booked my appointment to see Sira. As always, she is early, ready to seat you, and get right to work!
