Aubrey Barrett Orthodontics

My daughter received her braces at Aubrey Barrett Orthodontics. She just got her braces off and LOVES her new beautiful smile. Dr. Barrett takes the time to talk to her patients, and always explains things thoroughly. The staff is very friendly, and makes the patients feel at ease. I definitely recommend Aubrey Barrett Orthodontics if you want honest, high quality work done.

We have been quite satisfied with Aubrey Barrett Orthodontics. On several occasions she has taken time from this busy practice to walk over and explain to me (the clueless dad) what our options are and how things are going. It’s a slam dunk that we’ll be back with our 2^nd in a few months. Keep up the good work!

I work with a number of professionals in the dental field, however it is not often I write a review for them. However in this case I thought it would be helpful. Dr Barrett is a very friendly person and her staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. In addition, she is an extremely competent orthodontist. She really knows what she is doing. If you are looking for an orthodontist I strongly recommend her office. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s hard to get too excited about orthodontists… but we’ve been very happy with Aubrey Barrett. My daughter wanted Invisalign and our dentist referred us to a well known orthodontist in Berkeley. He was probably very competent, but the prices were outrageous and the attitude was a bit condescending. So we shopped around for other options and came upon this office. They were very friendly and significantly less expensive. We are almost finished the Invisalign treatment and all has gone well with no surprises — so I’m thrilled that we took the time to shop around. The biggest complaint is that sometimes the office gets really busy and you can end up waiting for a while (seems to be a late afternoon rush that corresponds with kids getting out of school).

We’ve really enjoyed the friendly and kind service here. My daughter was scared to get braces, but Aubrey Barrett DMD calmed all those fears and has done such an amazing job on my daughters braces. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs braces.

Very, very disappointed. We came in for one very specific and minor treatment for our child, and they immediately pounced on the opportunity to provide a full range of orthodontics which were completely optional though they made them sound absolutely necessary. Total hard sell. Also, there are no private rooms. All the kids are lined up in chairs in one room; we thought it was kind of weird. They did not accept our major brand-​name dental insurance coverage, so we had to pay cash. And, they really pushed us REALLY hard to sign-​up for their CareCredit program, which charges 26.99% interest on balances from the date of purchase! My understanding is that doctors and dentists whose patients us this credit program earn fees, commissions, or other types compensation for it – in other words, they make money off of it. Is this an orthodontist or a loan shark!

Dr. Barrett and her staffs are very friendly and efficient.
I would highly recommend Dr. Barrett to all my friends.
