I have heard great things about the actual school, but unfortunately we were not able to figure out how to take a class, so I had to give up.
We went in about 6 months ago for an evaluation for my 4YO son, and then we were put on a list for a class, and indicated the days & times we could take the class. I had all but forgotten about it when they called me yesterday, and said all the other parents on the list wanted a Thursday time, which is not a day we can go. They wanted to put me on another list, but I decided to cut my losses. I wish they would just let you sign up for a class at a specified day and time like most classes.

Great school. Teachers are caring and the school is well organized and well run.
Give the gift of music to your children. They will thank you when they are all grown up. This holiday season has been a treat, given that my 6 year old son can now fill the house with some live Christmas music on the piano.

My daughter has been coming here for her piano lessons for the past year, and she’s had such a great time. The teachers work well with the kids, and know how to engage them while teaching them both music theories and the actual instruments. Reasonably priced for the excellent quality!
There’s also a monthly gathering where all the kids can perform to each other, and then they also do a craft project. My daughter loves these gatherings!
Will definitely continue coming here for piano lessons!

My family has been coming to Albany Music School for years, since it first opened — guitar and drum lessons. There has been staff turnover, but all the teachers we have had have been knowledgable and great with our kids. The owner has always been available to discuss issues and provide updates on how our kids are developing musically. Great school!!!

The Best Piano Teacher i aver had. I Am not good at playing the piano yet but she is so patient and caring. She knows how to get your attention and get the best out of you. After a few lessons i was surprised how good i am (compare to what i was).
Amazing experience, so glad i found this place an Lina is my teacher.

YAY!!! I finally did it!!!
I finally started playing the piano… and you know what… I LOVE IT!!!
I’ve passed this place several times since it’s in my neighborhood and I kept saying I have to call, I have to call.
Finally I did :)
The place is located in an upstairs studio. Very nice place and well lite. There are 3 piano rooms and a nice waiting area :)
I take private lessons w/​Lina who is such a cutie pie.
Since this is my first time taking lessons she is soooooo helpful and very pleasant. She goes over everything with you and reassures you :) I love her!!!
The monthly fee to attend the school is $ 240. That includes the private lessons, the materials and they opportunity to come in any time and practice and listen to others. They also have other lessons available. I know for sure when I go, there’s this little boy who plays the violin. He’s really good too :)

I’ve worked with several piano teachers over the years and without a doubt Lina is the best I’ve had the pleasure to work with. A highly talented, well trained pianist who also happens to be a phenomenal teacher. A very rare combination indeed. Her approach to teaching is remarkably flexible and she brings extensive experience as well. I would not hesitate to recommend her for anyone regardless of age, experience or interests.
