Compared to the North Park location I would recommend against…
Ordered some pizzas, my fav of course the potato as its just good. Yeah well when it’s a nice crust and not a soggy mess it is… in fact both of our pies just were soggy. Beers available were a good selection so if you’re coming in for a beer then maybe but with other local spots right around the corner that are better maybe you should think twice unless you want to drink alone in a large building.
Customer service wad not good when I went in. Told the girl that I had been to the other location and she told me «this is the only one…» !O_​o! Either the boss lied to you r you don’t get out of EC enough but there is another.
Every time I passed by this place it was always empty and maybe I see why. Recommend going to North Park and trying out the URBN over there and seeing the difference for yourself. Yeah that one is always busy and loud but way better service food and drinks.

This place has great pizza! t The service is HORRIBLE! I have been here at least 3 times & each time is no different. Spoke with manager (John) last night to inform them of the lack of good service. Will probably order the pizza for pick up from now on.

Only thing I’ve ever ordered from here is the mashed potatoe pizza. We order it when the craving hits. Definitely worth the try! Customer service is good. Twice we’ve received a burnt pizza. The last time we ordered the bottom was too burnt to eat, so my hubby called to bring it back and they were very gracious about making a new one.

Ordered two small pies for pick up. They said 20 min on the phone. I arrived at 30 and had to wait 15 minutes. We’ve also had issues with them and our orders when we eat inside before. I’ve pretty much given up hope on this place ever turning into anything good. El Cajon desperately needs something but this place isn’t it.

Good food, good beer, good service team. Would be even better if they had a full liquor license and more TVs with more programming. I’m definitely going back though.

The pizza is awesome… I got the one with ricotta cheese… Can’t remember the name… But it reminds me of Italy. Fresh ingredients, including the crust. I got a small and it is enough to feed three… awesome

First time at this place, was hesitant going here cause El Cajon brewery was horrible. Kevin was our waiter and he was so awesome! He broke down the menu for us and made suggestions on the pizzas which were phenomenal! Kid friendly environment, although there was not a kid menu but Kevin made the girls their own cheese pizza perfect for two kids to share! I could not be more happy of the service, food was great and the girls had fun! I cannot wait to try their kids pizza making class that Kevin told us about on every third Monday of the month between 5 – 8!!!

Such a cool place! We have been to the Vista one and although it’s good, it is tiny!
The el cajon location is large and spacious and has a really cool décor! We did a take out order of a large half sausage and spinach and half pepperoni pizza and also had a small urbn salad. The pizza was great and the salad was a little small but good. However, the pears were crunchy and flavorless, I would have preferred apples.
I will definately return and will eat there!
The bar tender was great and while I was waiting hooked me up with some samples! !

Had the all and all, every meat, vegetable and cheese possible all on a thin crust. I ate the whole thing :) working out later !!!

This is our favorite pizza & beer in East County. Try the mashed potato! Tasty thin crust, buttered potatoes, and BACON. Add a dose of Tapatió!! This light pizza paired with a dark beer is truly tasty. CHEERS!

Now that I’m a resident in East County, I came here one night because I didn’t know what restaurant I wanted to venture out to for the night. (Yes, I eat out every night)
I didn’t know that URBN is the same as BASIC Pizza in downtown which I’ve been to also.
Tupac and I had two pies; Fresh Pesto Chicken and Mashed Potato.
Who would’ve thought that the Mashed Potato Pizza would be so good. I’ve had it at Basic and I’m glad that they had here too. It was delicious!
Service was really good and I forgot the guys name. :(
I will add though that even the service was good, the pizza took FOREVER. I’m not going to knock them on the delay of the pies because they were extremely busy and I could see the workers working hard behind the glass making those pizzas. They weren’t being lazy and just hanging out but they were moving as quickly as they could.
Overall, since I’m now an East County resident, I love finding good places to dine at and this is definitely a great asset to El Cajon.

This is a nice spot to hang out with some pizza and beer. I’ve been here a few times and the past weekend went with the BF and had another Funtime. My fave is the mashed potato with bacon pizza. The waiters are always so well informed with their product. They always know how to describe their beers very well.
On a side note, one of the time I brought in a group of 20 for my bday. Our waiter helped out and was extremely patient for all my non beer drinking gfriends who he recommended to order beer flights. We were also about to order all their different types of pizza in large sized and he recommended to get smalls instead. Thank goodness we listened. We would have had a lot of left overs.
Great chill atmosphere. Good food. Great customer service. So needless to say, I will be coming back for more.

We tried a couple of carryout pizzas from here and they were AMAZINGGGG! We had the polpetta con provolone and a white pizza with garlic, spinach, and bacon. They were devoured by the family because they were so good! The polpetta was the favorite. The sauce was spicy and rich. And the homemade meatballs on there were delightful. The ricotta dollops perfectly complimented everything. And our absolute favorite thing was the crust. My oh my!!! The crust was soo good; the coal fire is magic!

The best stout aged in barrel and raspberry beer even better. Beside beer they do have best pizza

$ 43 for a nasty burnt pizza, got home went to eat with friends just to find trash not even dog would eat so burnt. Called but was to late closing.
Tried again another burnt pizza, and an awful desert. Ate at location second pizza was so nasty returned to kitchen. Group did not want to try again we decided to try deserts bad idea. Will not have a third try.

We normally come here late on Thursday nights after a meeting and the place is always nice, welcoming and ready to make things happen. No joke I think the wings here are awesome. They dont seem fried or over fried like most places, super meaty and tasty. The beers are always good and the service is good. The salads are good, pizza are great. Give it a shot and get the wings and beer and Pizza on the side.

Best urbn coal Pizza ever! And great selection of wines and beer. Been here before and one of my fave pizza beer eatery in ElCajon area. You gotta try their Beer flights! «Crystal our server was Outstanding great CS attitude. Very knowledgeable and helpful with our needs. Our fave was crispy Brussels sprouts I’m a big fan!
Nomnomnom ;) Plus craft pizzas yum the Mashed potato and chicken pesto half & half our all time fave! Out of this world !!! Overall great fun place to hangout with friends and Fambam. Will definitely keep on coming back here. Lots of parking. Great food, good vibes. Highly recommended.

Urbn St. was a pleasant surprise! I had no idea that an awesome Brewing Co. was just around the corner from La Mesa. It is in the same lot as 24 hour fitness and is right across the Ross with ample parking all around.
Service: Upon arriving we were automatically greeted by Krystal and seated quickly. They have great booth seating as well as a bar and outdoor seating as well. It was our first time so Krystal explained everything thoroughly from drinks to food but all in a friendly way so it was like we were hanging out with one of our friends. She was amazingly accommodating but gave us enough space to where we did not feel smothered. A big part of why we enjoyed our first time so much was because of her.
Food & Drinks: We got two flights and tried all the Urbn St. beers. They have 7 and a flight was 4 beers for $ 7 so we were able to try all the beers and have an extra of our favorite one. They have a good variety of IPA, Lights, a sour, and even a unique barrel aged beer. They also have an awesome variety of pizza and you’re even able to do half and halfs if you really want to try more than one. We did half Alfredo and half Pesto, both super delicious. The coal fire really makes a difference especially in the crust. The smalls are huge too and was enough to feed 3 of us. We also got the wings as appetizers. I highly recommend the buffalo sauce for those of you spicy lovers.
Overall my experience at Urbn St. was fantastic and would definitely go again.

Pizza here is an awesome thin crust pizza and if you’re on a gluten free diet this is some of Tyre best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Pizzas are huge and they’ve always been super accommodating of our special requests. I also enjoy their mashed potato pizza. Yum. Their wings are our favorite in the area (except for mine :)). We love their chopped (Italian?) salad. So fresh, filling and great combo of flavors. Friendly and helpful bartenders with a great atmosphere.

This place consistently sets the standard of good service, good food and an environment that is a cross between family friendly and a night out with your buddies.
The peppered salami is a tasty but not heavy on your stomach. The crust is very thin which allows you to taste the flavor pizza. They have several authentic beers which have a distinct flavor that is enjoyable depending on your preference. To enhance your meal, you can’t go wrong starting off with a meatball or the wings.
This is a cool spot, try it!
