I can’t believe there’s an actual review for this! I grew up a block away from this place and I can’t believe it’s still there. East County classic. It’s where the old alcoholics and the aspiring young alcoholics congregate. How awesome we can all get along. It a run down dark atmosphere the kind you expect to find an aging female bartender with bright red lipstick, frizzy dull hair and a smirk that says she’s been through it. Actually I beleieve I just described the bartender who served me. These are my east county roots, bikers, beer and tweekers. Oh, memories!

Terry’s East is one of the most underrated bars in El Cajon. Not only do the serve free pizza during happy hour, they are on the same block as one of the few distributors of Mississippi Mud in the region. Come here on a Monday morning for good times. The only downside is that the pool sticks are extremely warped, making them suitable only for fighting bikers with.
