Out of all places I’ve been to for pollo asada fries, Santana’s has the best I’ve ever tried hands down. Friendly staff and close to work, my go to place Monday-Friday while at work.

I somewhat frequent Santana’s and the food has always been good. The Tijuana taco’s are especially good(they have Taco Tuesdays at $ 1.10 a pop) as well as the combo plates being of decent size for the price. The burritos are generally good however I ordered a green pulled-pork burrito which was pretty much all pork and no rice or anything else. The carne asada dishes seem to be very heavy on the carne asada so something to keep in mind.

I always go to eat something and they don’t listen. Put thing i don’t like to eat… I don’t think they understand customer services…

So I ordered a shrimp burrito. On the menu, it says the shrimp burrito has shrimp, rice, beans, and sour cream. After I took a few bites of the burrito, I decided to cut it in half to see what was in it because it didn’t taste anything like I thought it would. Basically they gave me a burrito with 60% beans, a little rice, no sour cream, onions, nopales, and literally 5 pieces of shrimp. First of all, this is a SHRIMP burrito, which you pay extra money for, not a bean burrito with shrimp. Secondly, why on earth do you put onions and cactus in a shrimp burrito, when you already have rice, beans and supposedly sour cream. Third, if you’re going to put all of that nonsense into one burrito, at the very least put it on the menu so the person ordering can tell you not to include it. Take caution when ordering the shrimp burrito, or any other burrito for that matter.

Just left a few minutes ago after ordering a torta cubana for my wife and a fish burrito for myself. The fish burrito was not hot! The fish didn’t feel fresh from the fryer. Why advertise that you have fresh ingredients, and then give me a fish burrito that was not fresh from the fryer. We go here time to time, and what a disappointing visit tonight. Probably better to go to spring Valley for Burritos. I typed this last night and came back this morning to edit this just to say the following: I don’t recommend this restaurant and I probably won’t be coming back. If you continue to serve your food like this, one day you’ll serve it to the wrong person(perhaps an inspector).

The rudest taco shop I have ever been to. The 2 cashier girls are the rudest, don’t ask them for anything because they will stare you down and make sure you ask nothing of them. I had asked for a carne asada burrito. I don’t know about you but I like my meat well done because I’m not looking for an E. coli infection. I advised the cook to please cook the meat well done because they always have the same problem of not cooking the meat thoroughly. And then rudely the MANAGER yells at me «I’ll make sure it’s burnt!!!» Ouch. That was very rude coming from the manager. His comment wasn’t sarcastic because he wasn’t laughing that’s for sure. So I told the manager that I didn’t want it burnt either. Management needs to understand the key concepts of customer service. You don’t yell at them! All I wanted was my meat well cooked and got attacked. So if you want to get sick from uncooked meat you come here.

I remember this building when it was a Taco Bell, so Santana’s is a big improvement. The food at Santana’s is never blow-your-mind great, but it’s always really good. You can tell the food is fresh. Plus they have a pretty good salsa bar. Today I gave the guy a $ 10 to pay for my $ 7 burrito. I didn’t realize there was a $ 20 stuck to the back, but he did and gave it back to me. He said, «We’re good people here.» So he got a $ 3 tip.

Best part about this place– they’re open 24 hrs. Gotta love late night service. And the food is the same great quality. I drop by here maybe once a wk primarily bc it’s the only option for late night food in the area but also bc santanas has really good food. The customer service at the drive-thru is always good. They prepare the food some what quickly. Not lighting fast but what do you want for rolled tacos at midnight. they always give plenty of hot sauce. All n all, good taco shop!

Tell me why every time I ask for a specific amount of hot sauce, they always give me two.

Came here yesterday to get dinner for me and my 2 kids. My son was eating his rolled tacos when I noticed a long hair stuck underneath the cheese!!! I was so disgusted. I have black hair and this hair was a brassy color. He had only ate 1 out of 4 of his rolled tacos so I had to toss the other 3. Almost $ 5.00 and had to end up buying him something else to eat. What a waste of money. I usually enjoy Santanas but I think I’ll stay away from this particular location.

The food as of the last few months has been a dried up mess. It seems that the cooks gave up and Dont care about the food. The sign says home of the California burrito but there Cali burrito is the worst I’ve had. The service is slow and I hear the cooks and cashiers talking shit about me in Spanish cuz I requested something special on an order.(I’m white so I do not believe they knew I spoke Spanish). I won’t be going back there again. Sombreros has better food, better price, and better service.

I had set up a meetup here with my motorcycle group but one of my members said that it had bad reviews from Unilocal so I went yesterday to check them out since I haven’t been here in a few months. I saw that the place is clean and service was great. I ordered the chicken achiote burrito, which is my favorite chicken burrito ever, and it was delicious! Also ordered the shrimp burrito for my wife and had a taste of that and it was also fantastic! Highly recommended!

So I went in the other day and got a chicken taco which came with guac and pico de Gallo and it was pretty good, but unfortunately when I came back to get the same taco 2 days later it was not the same! They put lettuce(which was all warm) and a bunch of cheese which I don’t understand why they would switch the toppings randomly lol. Perks — the drive thru and open late hours

Not the best Mexican food, but not the worst. I ordered three TJ tacos through the drive-thru this morning. I would have given them three stars, but the customer service was terrible.

The next time I get an order that is prompt and accurate, it’ll be the first. I’ve been here about 5 times for breakfast before work, to buy the guys burritos. They’re not that great, but not too awful. They do, however, take 15+ minutes to get you 2 burritos. Today I went in and asked for a breakfast PLATE(It’s literally just chopped bacon inside some scrambled eggs), it’s about the only low carb alternative. This little moron, in such a hurry(I dont know why, it still took 15+ minutes) decides to give me a breakfast BURRITO. I clearly said breakfast plate. He had the nerve to debate what I REQUESTED. I tried to salvage it by eating the inner of the burrito, since I don’t eat many carbs. This was loaded with old french fries and pico. Needless to say, that trash literally went out my window. If I could give this scummy little establishment 0 stars, I would. Don’t take your dog here. I hope this place goes out of business.

Mainly a drive in late night Mexican shop, but I’ve been coming here for a while now. Food takes a little long to prepare, which is why I gave it a 4 star, but the food is good, especially when you are under the influence haha. Prices are affordable, with the basic orders.

Went in to get a California burrito. Place was empty in the drive thru. Asked for it with guacamole, pulled up and payed for the burrito and the guacamole charge. I got NO guacamole. Never going again.
