Telephone number is disconnected. Not sure if it’s even open. Tried calling ahead as I’m pressed last minute to mail a registered letter. I’m not even going to go by to see if it’s still exists.

Too bad can’t leave leave less than 1 star. Poor business practices. Website says opens at 8:30. Got there at 9:15. Closed. Sign on door says opens at 9:30. Waited until 9:50. No sign of ANYONE coming to open up. Tried calling. Got a generic voicemail asking me to enter my code to retrieve msgs. Good way to lose business. They lost mine. Update: Well, apparently they are out of business. Nice that the sign indicate it as such. Really makes me nervous that I entrusted personal information to a fly-by-nite outfit that perhaps skipped out on the rent in the middle of the nite? Sad.

I enjoy the neighborhood homey feeling and friendliness of this little shop. For anyone tired of the constant lines and and impersonal feel of the U.S. Post Office, this is a breath of fresh air. They provide everything the Postal Service does, and a whole lot more. Yes, you can still have them send a package out USPS… but you also have the option of UPS or FedEx. Yes, they have postage stamps, boxes, and packing materials like the Post Office… but will the Post Office order your business cards, make copies, send or receive your FAXs, or order rubber stamps for you like Mail Plus? Yes, you can still have a personal mail box at the Post Office… but Mail Plus offers those, too, and while you’re picking up your mail, you can also browse through their attractive little gift shop and greeting card section, because chances are there is somebody in your life that you’re running out of time to get that special gift or card for, and time seems to be something we’re all a little short on these days. The U.S. Post Office will take your passport photo for you… but so will Mail Plus, and they can also do your LiveScan Fingerprinting that many employers are requiring now as part of their hiring process. And another cool thing this particular Mail Plus has to offer is that they are literally right next door to the Graves Avenue DMV in El Cajon. You couldn’t get more convenient for Notary services for the DMV unless you hire a mobile notary to accompany you INTO the DMV waiting room,(and have you ever priced THAT?!) They did a good job for me again this Tuesday, as they always have before, and as I know they will the next time I have need of one of the many services they offer. They are located in a shopping center on the corner of Graves and Bradley Avenues in El Cajon, situated immediately next to the Bradley Exit of the 67 Freeway, and only 6 to 8 blocks from Parkway Plaza Mall and the 8 Freeway.
