I love to support the locals so when I heard about this gun shop that was also a liquor store I knew I had to check it out. Who doesn’t love ATF? The first time I came unfortunately the gun shop was closed but the liquor store was open so I went in to ask about the gun shop. The clerk was pretty friendly and gave me the run down on the gun shop. So just recently I came back they were open and there was two older guys in the back room. They were talking about how cold it was and they were right it was freezing cold inside. Well anyway the shop is very small probably the size of a shoe box. They had a few rifles and a little bit of ammo, a few targets and a few knives. The owner tried to sell me the business which I thought was hilarious because I know nothing on how to run a business. Well if I’m in the area and I need something I may stop here for a drink and maybe some ammo.

I picked up a nice little Ruger 9 mm here. Of course, there is the 10 day wait. I wait the 10 days then go in to pick up my piece. He forgot to process my damned paperwork! Oh, sorry, another 10 days. Wow. Unbelievable. Furthermore, while I was there, some guy called, and the owner had done the same shit to this poor sap! This other guy on the phone was heated, I could hear him yelling through the phone, so another 10 days for this other dude as well. Total deal breaker as far as repeat business. I have also called about 9 mm ammo a few times, they don’t have it. There is really no reason to shop here if you have a car, there are so many better shops in S.D.

Any establishment that helps me exercise my Second Amendment rights and remembers that the Eighteenth Amendment was repealed by the Twenty Third has got my business. WHENYOUGO– Marvel at the smell of gun powder and packing oil while you shop a surprisingly good selection of beers. Average prices on liquor(for a liquor store). Decent prices on ammo(Ted will deal with you in bulk), cleaning supplies and accessories. Like all gun shops, you’ll see around a 3% markup.

While I don’t think the 2 should go hand-in-hand, it is America. I like the concept– after reading some of the reviews, I will definitely stop here to check out their product–

Liquor AND guns??? Woo wee! Is it a redneck Christmas??? I LOL’ed(literally) when we drove past this place, and insisted on stopping to buy a lottery ticket. This is totally a place that would win the big one, don’t you think??? The dude behind the counter was really friendly, promised to sell me the winning ticket(liar) and winked at me. What can I say? Flattery will get you everywhere…5 stars.

Nick(the owner) is a great guy and very helpful when deciding on a firearm purchase. It’s strange that he owns a liquor store in the same complex, but that doesn’t bother me. In fact, the guy in the liquor store has always been way friendly, even for a clerk. One time I didn’t have enough money for a drink and he said just bring it by when I could, that was pretty cool. If Nik doesn’t have the gun you are looking for in the shop, He’ll order it for you too. My SKS one time had issues and he fixed it for free. Great guy. Go in there and support a local business… never will I buy from Turner’s again

Synergy:
1. The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.
2. Cooperative interaction among groups, especially among the acquired subsidiaries or merged parts of a corporation, that creates an enhanced combined effect. What can possibly be more synergistic than GUNS and ALCOHOL? Hiram seems to be a firm believer in the principles of synergy, and I believe his opening of a store that sells GUNS and ALCOHOL at the same time is more of a brilliant physics experiment than a shrewd attempt to make as much money as somebody possibly could by trying to supply a violent growing mob of racist hicks booze and ammo. This place has enough weapons to start your own race-war and enough booze to not remember having started your own race-war.
