This place has the worst service around. The food is over priced and the service is HORRIBLE. I usually order in the drive through and they ALWAYS forget something. When I say always, I mean EVERYTIMEYOUGO. I spend at least $ 25 a trip there, and when I get home I notice $ 5 of my order is missing. When I call they say«sure come back and get it». YES I WANTTOCOMEBACKANDGETITAFTER I SATDOWNTOEAT. I’d love to contact the owner. I will NEVER eat here again and I urge every customer of theirs to do the same.

Saw this from the freeway and decided to try it via drive thru. Wow! Ordered the chicken kabob plate for $ 11, so much food! A huge Greek salad loaded with fresh romaine, feta, cucumbers, red onion, green pepper and kalamata olives, and red vinegar dressing– the way it should be! Then you open the second box which is loaded with a bed of deliciously flavored, fluffy rice, the chicken is moist and loaded with flavor, freshly grilled, a warm, soft pita quartered, along with fresh tatziki sauce. For me, this was two meals. A great bargain! Sure wish we had this back home. This is a must go to for all future trips to San Diego!

Good food, but very commercialized and pricy. They have a good selection, but lack the quality of flavor that other, more authentic Greek restaurants offer. I have ordered their chicken, salad, pitas, and fries/zucchini and have been to all three east county locations.

Food and customer service has diminished, we order take out quite a bit for work and they have forgotten part of the order again. No pita bread this time and we called and they could care less. Salad is all iceberg lettuce no flavor, they are skimpy with the chicken and Greek toppings with only a small amount of dressing. I will be voting no on Greek Chicken next time we have a company meeting

This one is WAY better than the one on main. Counter girls aren’t that friendly but the food makes up for it. Clean and remodeled prices are high though

Upon searching Unilocal for a decent lunch, I stumbled across this wonderful delight. I ordered the gyro meat sandwich and salad combo. There was so much food! It was delicious and I will be back!

Great place for lunch. They even have a drive-thru window if you’re on the road. Each item is served hot and fresh, and serving size is larger than I expected. Love that the gyro sauce was served on the side of my sandwich. Their French fries are crisp, hot, and delicious. I will be back to try their lemon Greek chicken. If it is as great as the gyro I had, my half-Greek side will love it!

This Restaurant, from the moment you walk in, until the second you leave, is pure excellence! The chicken is so juicy and delicious, so perfectly seasoned, that even if you want to take it home, you just keep eating it until it is gone! Don’t worry if you’ll get enough food to eat, they do not skimp on portion size. Plenty of rice, potato salad, every side dish is enough for two.(We figured this out when we picked up our order, which was super fast too!) The food, the service, the impeccable cleanliness of this Restaurants is five star throughout! The big genuine smiles and greeting from all the staff is not found in any other Restaurant that I’ve visited in the East County! You will definitely want to return again and again, and will not be embarrassed to recommend family and friends. This Restaurant is outstanding! Oppa! Sincerely, Anthony West

I love love LOVE this place. It’s literally a block away from my apartment and I definitely come here at least once a month. I work up in la jolla and sometimes after the drive from hell home I really don’t want to go anywhere or cook anything and a drive thru is all I can handle. Greek chicken is a much healthier option than going to McDonald’s or those types. I always get the Greek Salad with Chicken and pita. Literally Amazing! My favorite part is that you actually have to wait a few minutes at the drive thru and you know what you ordered hasn’t been sitting out all day and given to you in 30 seconds because it’s made fresh. UPDATE: changed it up last time and ordered the chicken skewers dinner(comes with rice, salad, and pita) and OMGLOVE. This place will forever be my favorite!

As a frequent patron of both east county locations, I usually know what to expect going in to a Greek Style Chicken experience. You know that the food is delicious, gourmet, and memorable. You also know that you are going to pay handsomely for the deliciousness. I absolutely love the chicken skewers! They are one of my favorite things to order, either a la carte or as a complement to my gyros plate. Sometimes, I’ll just get a gyros sandwich on my lunch break, sometimes I’ll go pick up the dinner for two like I did tonight. The main reason to order the dinner for 2 is that it has gyros, chicken skewer, and some good plain ol Greek chicken! I got mine with a salad and fries… I also ordered 2 butterscotch chocolate shakes. Amazing! When I asked for ranch dressing to go with my $ 30 meal, I was charged $ 1.03??? Are you kidding me? OK I know what you’re thinking… If you know what to expect why complain? Because I think it’s ridiculous to tag me for another dollar. I should get whatever sauce I want when I order 30 dollars worth of food, so long as I don’t ask for an excessive or gluttonous amount! And no, I don’t think I’m out of line for expecting a little cup of complimentary ranch dressing. Don’t you agree?

Food quality: Great quality gyro meat for a fast food establishment. Their gyro salads are massive — a small could serve two people. The rice and pita bread are just okay. Drive Thru /Personnel: The drive thru is quick and efficient. They’ve never gotten my order wrong. The personnel are friendly and bubbly. 3⁄5 stars: Though I commend them for what they serve as a fast food restaurant, the quality of Greek style food is just okay/good. It’s nothing exciting or brag-worthy. However, if you want Greek style food quick, it’s not a bad place to swing through.

Amazing food here… kids chicken strips really set the bar and make me feel good b/c it’s real chicken!!! Large Gyro salad is also fantastic. Prices are excellent and this is becoming our«go to» family Resto! Make sure you get the pita & dessert as well. Greek chicken just crushes it!

Greek Style Chicken was my go-to lunch location when I worked in El Cajon. Their gyros and chicken(obviously) are delicious, and their food is always served piping hot. Be sure to slather on the tzatziki; this tangy, cucumber sauce goes great with… pretty much anything.(Ketchup on my fries? No thanks — bring on the tzatziki!) The entrees are not the cheapest, but their prices are reasonable for the quality of food that you get. If you’re on a budget, the gyro sandwich is a great deal — it’s a pretty large portion of food, especially for around $ 7. On weekdays this place gets packed around noon, so stop by for an early or late lunch if you want to avoid the rush. If you’re a Unilocaler, be sure to check-in for a free medium drink.

Came here on a quick drive by. We thought we try somethin new. My boyfriend ordered the gyro sandwich. This was actully pretty good. It was a little pricy though. I ordered this chicken on a stick. It had good sesoning but it was pretty dry. I would go back to try other items on the menu.

I do like my chicken and was reading the reviews and thought that this would be a good place to try out. I did get chicken and thought it was a bit lemony. The chicken was cooked very well and was not dry like some places that I’ve been to and the bread that comes with your meal was really good. If they would just tone down the lemon tartness it would be an awesome meal. I really did like the zucchini. I’ve had zucchini and don’t like the huge spears that I’ve had at other places. They serve zucchini that is about the size of French fries and they’re really good! I would definitely have those again.

It was a little pricey, but the food was definitely good. $ 11 got gyro, salad, and fries. with pita… check in for Unilocal for a free drink. It’s true. Quality was worth it. The girls at the counter were also very nice and helpful. If you are looking for less expensive greek food in East County, you could always tru JK’s on University in La Mesa. Next time, i think i’m going to order the kids meal. 2 pieces of chicken and a side for only $ 5.

Absolutely moan-able! Tangie lemon salty chicken and moist shaved lamb gyro with a side salad for about 12 bucks. Kinda Spend-ie but worth it! They have free Wi-Fi but be warned there might be a quasi-homeless man sitting next to you watching YouTube videos about tools with his laptop volume turned up. I was there without my kids of course there had to be some slight annoyance. Do I really need to blog about technology etiquette???
