I’ve been affiliated with this club now for over 30 years and have had many family members & friends who too have become regulars(and members too) Yes it’s true, Oktoberfest is the biggest event of the year for us — but there are many things the whole year long to to and be involved in. Take a look at us on our website.

Best Oktoberfest in SD hands down! When they celebrate they really try and stay as close to the authenticity of the one in Germany! It always takes place the last weekend in September and the first weekend of October… Everything from the real German beer(Just to name a few Hofbräu, Spaten, Kostrizer), pretzels, bratwurst, and the entertainment as well! It has gotten a little commercialized but nothing like La Mesa’s Oktoberfest… It depends on the day and time you get there because it can get hard to find parking and pretty crowded but worth checking it out! They also hold other events throughout the year, so if you are interested go on their website calendar and see for yourself!

This was my first time visiting this location for Octoberfest… absolutely loved it! Everyone was very warm and friendly with a jovial spirit. I really enjoyed the pretzels and pickles, besides those treats they also had available bratwurst, ox-, wieners in a bun, German potato salad, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, and lots of delicious looking German pastries. And I probably missed something from their menu… there was food everywhere. You waited in line for food and beer coupons… the wait was maybe 15 minutes but no one seemed in a particular hurry no pushing or shoving which was a nice surprise. Then you got into a line to pick up the food. Live music filled the night with dancing(both young and old). The vendors had really neat items… the lady that sells the potato covers(it really works we have had baked potatoes twice already, you put the whole potatoes in a paper towel and put into this hand sewn bag and microwave, they come out fork tender) we look forward to coming back next year. And bringing the family, as I know they would have enjoyed it also.
