At Eagle Gas you are always met by a friendly smile and happy greeting! I always come here to get my gas because it is the cheapest in town and the clerks are always a pleasure to be around. If youre having a hard day I suggest you go get some gas or even a pack of gum and have a nice conversation at Eagle Gas!

I have found Eagle Gas & LP to have just about the best prices in San Diego for fuel. It is very convenient for those traveling in east county. Just down the hill from the shopping center and just off I-​8.
The store has everything any other convenience store has, plus they have a great selection of beers. Not just your Bud and Coors products, but some bottles that are a little more «crafty». Good coffee in the morning. Bring your own mug in for refills and it’s only $ 1. Not $ 1.07 like some places. Just a dollar.
The only tricky part is getting into a diesel pump because sometimes there are quite a few commercial vehicles fueling as well. That speaks to their prices.

Location, price and service are all 5 stars. I get gas here twice a week or more. It’s convenient, (right off the freeway), easy in and easy out, sometimes you do have to wait a traffic light signal to get out, but worth the price as it’s much cheaper than many other places, and easier to get in and out of some of the cheaper places. Attendants are always friendly and do go out of their way to help when needed. I have a Costco card, but usually end up here due to no wait time usually. Thank you.

CUSTOMER SERVICE — ABOVE & BEYOND!
On the evening of 11/​19/​2013 my girlfriend and I were driving back to San Diego from Julian when my car suddenly lost oil pressure (we discovered later) yet managed to sputter into the gas station at Eagle Gas. After calling AAA to get a tow to my mechanic (beyond the 7 mile limit) we were stuck — either we paid a fortune for towing on the spot or leave the car if possible and get a ride if possible. When we explained to the gas station attendants our situation we were met with kindness and a genuine desire to help. Their words «we are human being first.» They assisted us with pushing the dead car into a stall out of the way yet where they could keep and eye on it for us. They also offered to assist with calling a cab. Their positive attitude was the best case scenario one could ask for when it is cold, dark and your car has suddenly died.

Eagle always seems to have the cheapest gas in the area for one thing, but I decided they deserved a good review because on my most recent fill up there, I ended up pumping less than I paid since I just had to guess what it would take for a fill up. I forgot to go back in for my change and when the clerk saw me get back into my truck to leave, he came running out to give me my change. I really appreciate his honesty, especially as rare as it seems to be these days. Thanks Eagle. You’ve got a repeat customer here!
