Crest Auto Repair

I do not recommend.
He may be a good mechanic, but a shady business person. Been using this repair shop for some time, last time he diagnosed a faulty starter to my Mercedes van. Due to the high cost of the starter I told Jerry, that I would shop around and he was doing so as well. That was the last time we spoke on the phone, he never called me back. I was out of the country for some time and when I returned I had an employee call to find out the status of the repair. To find out that the Van was fixed and that the starter didn’t needed to be replaced… just a faulty relay. Again I never received a call that that Van was fixed or nothing. The day I pick it up I am being charged 500.00 dollars for storage. I filed a complain with the BBB. My invoice says on the bottom:
PLEASE PAY THIS AMOUNT 1154.26 dollars.
Then he charged my credit card 1654.26 dollars.
Very disappointed!!!

Both my cars broke down within an hour of each other. Jerry fixed them both in super speedy time and it didnt break the bank like we were anticipating! They even drove me and my daughter home so they could fix our car. We’ve been living in Crest for 4 years now and would go out of our way to take our car to our usual mechanic way across town because this place only had 1 rating. Even though its a 5 star rating its only 1. I think Crest is trying to hide a good thing ;) He even waves hi as you drive down the hill and oogles at your baby to make them smile! Our cars are running great now and we are happy that our new mechanic is just around the corner!

I took my car elsewhere for an alginment because I had a discount. They told me I had other «urgent» repairs (totalling $ 667), as well as another repairs for approx $ 1,000. My wise husband told me to take my car to Jerry as he has done other work for us. He carefully checked the «urgent» repairs and saw no problems. He informed us of an oil leak that we were already aware of, but said there is no need to fix until it leaks more and we want to fix it. And after all that checking, including checking my brakes, he didn’t charge me a thing!
He is old-school…no lobby with coffee or a receptionist, but seems to be an honest and nice guy!

Jerry is the owner and does a great job keeping my cars going. He is very honest and reasonable. If you live in Crest he’ll even give you a ride home and pick you up when your car is ready! I usually consult him for best turn around time.
