Clipper Crew Barber Shop

I came to this shop as a reference from my sister and the first time I went it was okay. They don’t clean you up after they cut your hair, add any oils gels whatever just cut you and go. The last time I went, and it is the last time I’ll ever go, Gio came in about 15 or 20 minutes late for my appointment. He ignores me upon entering the establishment and I knew instantly he was high off something. The basketball game was on so during the process of cutting my hair, he kept stopping to talk and commenting on the game engaging everyone but me. The vending machine never works. Like never. The atm was broken so he used his square and charged me $ 30 dollars without my consent on a $ 15 dollar haircut at best. I would put 0 stars but Unilocal won’t let me.

Came in. No barbers but the owner. Found out my main barber from bounced. So, hes cutting someones hair another barber walks in and has a appointment so that person jumps ahead of me. After the owner is done, im ready to get up and get on the chair and he tells me (hold on i havent ate) dude starts eating in front of me having conversations with the other barber and im just siting there. So i wait until hes done then he says to his people «does anyone want anything from the liquor store?» And walks right out.
Hahahaha. Ive never seen that before in my life. Didnt tell me nothing. I dont know who taught this dude manners, but as a customer, wow man, this was terrible. Dude acts like no one has sh#$ to do.
I wont be coming back.

I just moved back to San Diego and was looking for a good neighborhood barber shop. I’ve been relying on Sport Clips in the meantime, but I think I’ve found my spot. Great music and chill vibes. Felt more like I was getting a haircut at a friend’s place than a sterile «What number do you want?» environment you’ll find at chain shops. Tito cut my hair and really finessed every little detail. I was impressed with the care he took to get everything just right. I look great and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m a little shaggy.

I been thur many barbershop here in San Diego & in Las Vegas but finding the right Barber is like finding A needle in a haystack. Before I came to Clipper Crew in El Cajon I had settled with a good barber in another part of El Cajon. I recommend Anthony @ Clipper Crew because he Is more than just good he is one of the best in town he works on a very flexible schedule and works on his Kraft check out the Clipper Crew.

Definitely one of the best cuts I’ve gotten in a while. Took his time to give me what I want. Nice place and nice people. Definitely a place I would come back to. Worth every dollar I spent. It may cost a bit more than usual but you pay for quality.

This spot is on point! Some of the same barbers from across the street in the mall. I highly recommend it. Even though I waited 2 hours… it’s still legit.

This place has been my go to barbershop for over a year now. They always hook it up with the best cuts.

I found Bebo on Instagram and was immediately impressed with his work so I booked an appointment. To be fair, on the day of my appointment it was raining and flooding heavily in San Diego. However, I expect some form of communication if you can’t keep an appointment. When I arrived Bebo was not there and he was unable to reached by other three barbers. STRIKE ONE.
I then said «Is anybody available to give me a cut? It doesn’t matter who does it.» Everyone looks at me like I’m an alien and no one speaks up. Mind you, the place is completely empty. Bebo’s brother (I can’t remember his name) volunteers to cut my hair. STRIKE TWO.
He did a good job and I have no complaints about the quality of the haircut. Additionally, when Bebo arrived he apologized for his absence and gave some excuse.
I was told by Bebo’s brother not to book an appointment via the booking site but to text him directly. I followed his instructions and asked for a 4PM appointment two weeks later. I show up at 4PM and I wasn’t greeted by anyone in the barbershop (not that important because I’m here for a service, not friendship). More importantly, the barber had just started cutting someone else’s hair. At no time did he try to explain himself or offer how long he would be late. That’s STRIKE THREE!
Barbers are quick to complain about their time being valuable but hold no value for yours. I’m a grown man. The days of me waiting multiple hours for a haircut are long gone. I booked an appointment for a reason.

Some barbers I guess have enough money. Close at 7 and 3 barbers (usually the barbers i never go to, but only ones there tonight) sitting down with no customers I walk in at 6:25 and they said we about to close down. Guess i have to find another barber shop. I always give good tips too. Oh well have to give to somebody else for now on. Can’t wonder if Im going to get a hair cut or not with a business that shuts down 35 minutes earlier than they supposed to.

Go check them out on IG they got some clean cutz! Gio and my Day 1 Barber Junior are one of the best in my opinion. Their shop is kids friendly so don’t worry about taking your children over there so that they can get a fresh cut! Nice and clean with good music so that you entertain yourself while your waiting. Definetly recommend their barbershop if your around El Cajon.

Got a clean high n tight fohawk today from Scotty. He was attentive, detailed, and did a great job. I’ll be back, for sure.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get a haircut here. I was looking forward to it as they have good reviews and employ barbers who have won top competitions. I give this shop 1 star due to the fact that I booked a reservation using the app booksy and selected Junior, as he recently won the best haircuts 10 times in a row. I arrived 15 minutes early for a 1030 appointment. 1 hour later still no junior. You would think that as a manager you would call your employee on behalf of a potential repeat customer but that did not happen. As a business owner I would not recommend this establishment to anyone I come in contact with. If you own a business know that people satisfied and dissatisfied with you service will tell ten people and those ten people will tell ten more.

This place is great! I’ve been taking my son to Bebo for awhile now, he’s amazing! He cuts my sons hair exactly how he wants it and leaves him looking handsome. My son feels comfortable going to Bebo and will not go to anyone else.
The barbershop is clean and convenient. All the guys there seem to do a really good job and are all very good with their clients. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

I’ve been coming here since Geo first opened. I never have a problem having any of their barbers cut my hair. They are all professionals and know what they are doing. The shop is clean and kid friendly. I highly recommend Clipper Crew to anyone looking for a great cut in East County San Diego.

The shop overall good location but no one speaks to you when you first come in especially first time but it’s ok no reason to go if it’s not friendly!

I have been a loyal customer at Clipper Crew for close to 2 years now. I currently drive from North Park to East County just to get my cut from Geo and Tony (it is worth the gas money). They are hands down some of the most talented barbers at one of the most affordable prices to get cut by in San Diego. They are loyal to their staff and customers, and can guarantee to not be a waste of your time or money. Clipper Crew deserves 5 stars all day everyday.

Once again, clipper crew never fails me when my son (4yr old) and I need a good looking haircut. They take their time on you and do their best to make you feel at home, real cool vibe in there. No matter what nationality you are, you’ll be taken care of and you’ll leave feeling like a new man.
