I have been here more times then I can count… The food is inconsistent, but it is usually good. Its not anything amazing, just bar food with a twist. I really like their beer selection — lighthouse light is awesome. The atmosphere is OK, its much better in the summer when the patio is open. The staff has always been really nice and helpful. I like it and always stop on the way through. It is DC’s only brewery and being a true Wisconsinite, if there’s one thing I love, its a microbrewery.

Disappointing. Forgettable(trying to forget about the disappointing lunch). Not a crowded restaurant, waited 40 minutes for mediocre food. Cheap hamburger cooked half way through. So raw I wondered about safety. Lettuce on the burger actually had a two and a half inch hard core/stem the part you break off and throw out. Did the cook really serve that expecting a customer to eat it(without breaking a crown)? Obviously no one cares what they are serving here. To add insult, ordered mac & cheese for the kids off the children’s menu. Pretty simple. There were about 10 — 15 penne noodles in total. Shockingly small portion even for children’s menu. It barely covered 2⁄3 bottom of the small child’s plate, a portion perhaps fit for a one to two year old who isn’t hungry, They were happy to collect more than four dollars for that(about 25 cents per noodle). Don’t spent the extra $ 2 they want for sweet potato fries, they aren’t worth it. Nothing is worth at this restaurant. We will NEVER return.

I ordered the New England chowder and the fish and chips. The chowder was good with fresh ingredients but a little watery for my taste but that’s just a personal preference. The fish and chips came with a side of coleslaw and tartar sauce. The coleslaw was disappointing, it tasted terrible. The fish and fries were good but not worth the price in my opinion. The service was very slow and it wasn’t even crowded and that’s why I gave it a 3. It took about 20 minutes to get the first beer I ordered and the second one I ordered never made it to my table.

I was excited to stop here and had high hopes, but this ended up being your typical tourist one stop… on other words you stop here and make a mental note to not come back. The first red flag to me should have been when I ordered a sampler flight before our lunch, they came out in small translucent disposable plastic cups. Any brewery or brewpub that is serious(and proud) about their beer will be serving it in glass, even tasters. The price for 6 samples was fair at $ 7. I was still optimistic though as generally menu prices that a but higher tend to signal quality ingredients. I expect a $ 11 burger that just comes with chips to be of quality fresh ingredients. The cheese especially with so much fresh cheese available nearby. The burger came out dry as a bone and with a touch of lettuce, big tomato slices, and pepper jack cheese. The cheese was not melted which was a signal the burger was not going to be hot. The cheese slice(pepper jack) was unlike any good pepper jack I’ve seen. It seemed to be of the same type as store bought pre-sliced variety. This is what I would expect at Hardee’s and on a $ 6 burger. Not $ 11 burger at a brewpub. The rest of my table had pretty much the same experience.

Beer isn’t amazing, but is good. Nice patio right in Egg Harbor if it’s a gorgeous day out. There is a Fat Louis martini that sounds weird, but is the perfect sweet cherry and pepper. Ask for Hannah at the bar, she was very friendly and a great bartender.

Didn’t try the food but the Brandy Slush drink is worth every penny. The bar itself is pretty basic with nothing really standing out or calling me back to return

Terrible food, salad was nasty many brown pieces. My husband’s bun for his brat was hard and tasted old. Sorry, nice atmosphere, but fail when it comes to food. Move on, better resturants down the road.

Best chowder I’ve ever had. We went during a slow time to obviously we were seated promptly. Waitress introduced herself. We ordered. Got our waters right away. Food came out in a prompt timely manner. Had the pulled pork and it was delicious! Husband had brisket and he loved it! Waters filled. Waitress checked in on us. Did read some of the negative reviews but didn’t have any negative experience. We will return to Shipwrecked in 2016!

I have been going to Door County for 30 years and this may be one of the worse restaurants in the entire county. Wow, poor service and bad food. I wish I could say something nice but I’m not able to. There are much better places to dine in Door County, so keep driving.

My review is about the beer and the Inn. This place is located in the heart of Egg Harbor. It has your typically bar food menu and has a large patio for outdoor seating. It’s within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. Across the street is the Chocolate Chicken(fudge, ice cream, coffee) and a block from Moja Rosas(burgers, Mexican, pizza) which had a good selection of beers and seemed to be the late night hangout spot. We didn’t eat here, but we did sample the beer. As others have mentioned, the beer was okay. Nothing really stood out as exemplary. Samples did arrive in plastic cups but that didn’t bother us. As for the Inn, there are 8 rooms to choose from of varying sizes. We stayed one night in Room #4 which had a queen size bed and was nicely furnished. It was air conditioned and had a hair dryer in the bathroom. No coffee maker or fridge. Noise from the street wasn’t an issue for sleeping here despite the place being along the main drag. Noise from patrons downstairs could be heard so if you are a light sleeper you might want to look elsewhere or have earplugs handy. Nice accommodations for $ 89 a night(peak season). Solid 3 star rating for the Inn.

Came in here for after dinner drinks. The bar was busy, as it was Memorial Day Weekend and a Saturday. We read mixed reviews on the beer, but thought we would stop in as there wasn’t much else around. Both bartenders had their backs to us at the bar. Waited a minute and decided to leave. Probably would have ordered a couple drinks.

I was a little disappointed in Shipwrecked. We started with the beer flight because we wanted to taste all the beers they offer. They come out in little plastic cups– not very impressive. The beers were just ok. We both enjoyed the cherry flavored beer the most. As far as food goes, we both wanted a burger but we decided to go with one burger and something else so we could share and try different things. We went with the Mac and cheese. We should have gotten two burgers. The mac just wasn’t very good. It didn’t even tasty cheesy. The burger was pretty tasty though. It had a cherry BBQ sauce on it that we really enjoyed. Service was good, but I’m not sure if it’s worth a return trip.

Had lunch here during the off-season. I had The Kraken burger and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. I got the sweet potato fries and he had the regular fries. The gentleman who seated us was super friendly and nice. It was apparently our waitresses first day and we were her first table! She did really well, was very cheerful and pleasant. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and was very good. I would definitely come here again. We had a very good experience.

Descriptive phrase: kitschy nautical pub. Shipwrecked is located right on the main drag through Egg Harbor. They’ve been open since the 90’s operating as a brewery, pub, and inn, but the building itself has been around much longer and has its own share of interesting stories attached. We sat down at the bar, though there is also plenty of seating in that and another dining area. The theme is definitely nautical in nature, though with a definite small-town Door County feel. Their«Plank O’ Brews Sampler» was only $ 7 for one of each of their 7 beers on tap. The plastic cups were small and really were just for samples, and I was a little disappointed the«plank» was a piece of paper instead of actual wood. Lighthouse Light: A slightly-tastier Kolsch(ABV5.6%) Miller Lite. Bayside Blonde Ale: American Blonde Ale(5.2%) lacking much flavor. Summer Wheat(Seasonal): This Hefeweizen(5.8%) was the only of the beers I found very drinkable, though it was still a bit watery. Door County Chery Wheat: This Wheat Ale(5.5%) is made with Door County cherries, which is a unique, local addition. Captain’s Copper: One of my favorite styles, Amber Ale, this beer had the color but lacked the maltiness I look for. India Pale Ale(Seasonal): Hop-hunters may find this IPA(6.5%) to be a bit weak, though it did feature more flavor than the Copper. Peninsula Porter: A pretty standard Porter(5.4%), if a bit watery. Shipwrecked has a prime location and serves up a kitschy theme, but their beer was disappointing. Nearly every beer was watery and lacked flavor; indeed they were hard to distinguish at times. Points are given for having 7 on tap(and for just $ 1 apiece), but with little distinction between each it’s kind of moot having so many. Shipwrecked may be a neat place to stay as an inn to explore the area, and I can’t speak to the food, but there’s better beer to be had.

If you like average food and drinks, this is your place. Comparatively speaking, the pricing for a meal is quite low, but then again so is the quality of the product. Rubbery chicken and lackluster burger. Despite that, the service was helpful and friendly.
