Best cheesesteak in the area not including White House, which will always trump everyone. Though I went in for pickup one day and the place could use a little dusting. But great food!

Love this place. Great italian sub. Just be ware that they do not have oil n vinegar on it. This drove my wife nuts, I got mine with hot peppers so they juiced things up. really small place, kinda in a neighborhood, not where you’d expect.

Vic’s subs is really good. They are not the best in town, but are very close. They use Boars Head meat which is a very quality meat. They also never keep you waiting long for your order. Occasionally one of the guys behind the counter will not be that nice, but it’s mostly a group of good guys.

Still the best. The meats are fresh, the steaks are always cooked well and to order. Note, Vic’s is now called «Jimmy’s». Not to worry, it’s the same owners and staff, they just got tired of people getting mixed up between the Egg Harbor Township and Absecon stores.

If you want to taste a good sub and you need it quick, this place makes one of the best subs around. I just wish the younger teenager knew how to be more polite on the phone! He seems angry every time we place an order. Cheer up young man; and stop sounding like you don’t want to be there. We love it when the older gentleman takes our order, he’s very sweet! Other then the young teenager taking the order this place is GREAT!

My brother ordered a sub and asked for lettuce on the side because he was sharing it and his wife doesn’t like it. They told him they couldn’t put the lettuce on the side! WHAT?!! My brother asked him why and he said, «We just don’t do that.» WHO DOES THAT?! I’ll never eat there because of that! I would give ZERO stars if I could! I absolutely despise horrible customer service!

Visiting area from Delaware and ordered 5 subs for take out and was hoping for 5 star subs and great cheese steaks. While the service was good and the size of the subs was generous the quality of the cheese steaks was only ok. As I am originally from Philadelphia I was expecting a great mushroom cheese steak sub but found the sub was made with what looked like steak-​umm meat and not the thin sliced /​shaved ribeye steak. This was true for another half steak sub also.
The other hot sub in this order included a cheeseburger sub (ok but not great), The cold subs were better and if were to order from Vics in future would also order a turkey or Capicolla as these were better than just average.
Also, found the phone in order taker to be friendly and accurate in the estimate of time to prepare and knowledge of menu and options.

I usually get a super cheese steak here and I don’t regret it. It fills me but it does not stuff me. It’s best to pick up your food since the place is not one of the best places for eating in, but you can.

When I go home to visit, I don’t have to go into Atlantic City to get a sub. Vic’s subs are what I crave when away from home and the only sub I eat when I’m back. Vic’s delivered subs to my in-​laws home for a gathering after a funeral and every tray was fresh, organized and delicious! Thank you
