Sweet people who care! As Cracker Barrel is always known for, the food is fresh and yummy and just like grandma used to make. How could you go wrong? Love the clearance section in the country store and always enjoy the unlimited refills on the drinks and the friendly, warm fire they have going in the wintertime.

I have been coming to this Cracker Barrel since I was a kid traveling back and forth from Chicago region to Paducah, KY to visit family. It was the highlight of the drive then and it still is now that I travel from Memphis, TN to Chicago area. It’s become tradition. And I LOVE breakfast food for any meal. This place spoils me because I know I can get breakfast every time I go, anytime I go. ALWAYS a great experience. I can not remember a single time I have ever left here with anything but a full belly(or a toy) and smile on my face. The employees in the store and the restaurant are always happy to help and welcome me to the store.

A typical Cracker Barrel. The bathrooms needed some attention. The servers were attentive.

Typical Cracker Barrel, food is Keats good but what I was most please about was that the wait was not real long & our waitress had our drinks refilled promptly. Try the strawberry lemonade & peruse the store, something to look at.

I typically only eat at Cracker Barrels when I am helping my parents drive from Texas to Michigan, then back again because none of us eat much fast food. The food, no matter the location, always seems to be fairly consistent and tasty. The service is usually pretty consistent as well. Can’t remember having a bad server. Their cat fish filet platter is oh so good. It’s a lot of food though, 2 catfish filets and 3 sides. But it’s worth it.

Food not too hot service wasnt either. Felt very rushed by our waitress! Definitely would not come back unless forced. Upped a couple stars for the management being very sympathetic for our waitress.

If you’re set on eating Cracker Barrel, skip this one and drive on down the road to the next one. Stopped here on my way to Chicago because I really didn’t want another greasy, fast food burger in the middle of nowhere. Should’ve had a V8 instead. Wouldn’t normally spend time writing a review on a chain restaurant, but this place was exceptionally bad to the point I feel the need to warn other potential diners. I’m sorry Cracker Barrel, I can’t even serve you a compliment sandwich, so I’ll keep it simple and list what went wrong. — watered down sweet tea — portion sizes too small — food quality was suffering Combine the above and you have to wonder what’s going on behind the scenes with this restaurant’s local management, sounds like they are cutting corners to reduce operating expenses rather than deliver quality food.

Wow for someone to rate a place based on the bathroom smell is beyond me. That is such a secondary issue and has nothing to do with the food, service and value. Someone could have dropped a urine bomb minutes before the reviewer walked and staff having a chance to clean it, which to say isn’t really fair; if you don’t tell staff about it, they won’t know until the next scheduled cleaning which are usually an hour apart. Again, as many have said, this is standard Cracker Barrel so it can be hit or miss at times. Sunday lunch is probably busiest because of the church crowds so service then can be a bit slower and quality can be lacking when you’re trying to whip out meals at a cheetah’s pace.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites and stopped at the Cracker Barrel before heading out in the morning. We got there around 9am and were greeted and seated immediately by a super friendly hostess. Our waitress was wonderful, prompt, and friendly. Food was standard Cracker Barrel. Before getting back on the interstate, we used their toilets. To say the bathroom reeked of urine is an understatement. I thought I was going to be sick. The appearance of the restroom was clean, but something is clearly wrong with the toilets. I wanted to tell a staff member but honestly was afraid if I talked or thought about it anymore, I would regurgitate in the store. This store would get 5 stars if they would fix their toilets.

My problem with Cracker Barrels is that I always review the menu, find something to order that I’ve not had, and when the waitress comes along, I always get the Country Fried Steak with sides. This time I did not. I got the Country Fried Chicken. A big switch for me. The place was full and people were flying around. However, our order got out in record time(between 5 and 10 minutes, but closer to 5). It was the special for the day. Plenty of soda and sweet tea refills. The okra was good. The corn was good. The corn biscuits were good. The service was good. The bathroom was clean. The location was«around the corner» from the off road ramp which made me think it would be empty… not happening. people were there.

Like all cracker barrels– no surprises. Service was slow, but extremely friendly on Sat AM. Will return. This is a busy restaurant and the food was tasty. Nothing stood out — you will find value here

Love love love Cracker Barrel! I had the hike and dumplings with Mac and cheese and it was delish! The service was quick and that’s what we were looking for since we were passing thru. I wish we could have stayed longer in St. Louis but we will be back soon!

Stopped here on the way from Saint Louis to Cincinnati to get early lunch/breakfast. Got seated right away, got served right away. Service was friendly. Food was delicious as always. I got the«three meat platter», which was awesome. My wife got chicken n’ dumplings which is sort of a special and it is also delicious. If you’re looking at the sides, my wife likes the green beans with ham. I like the hash brown casserole and the mac n’ cheese. For lunch/dinner the catfish platter is also an excellent choice if you like catfish.

Random stop on the 7 day road trip between Dallas and Indy, heard good things but didn’t expect a lot for a chain scattered throughout what seems like the random-est cities in the midwest. but man, the fish was solid and so were the sides of mac and cheese and grits… no wonder their stock price has nearly doubled in the last year. If i’m ever on the road again through the middle of nowhere and see a barrel, you can bet I’lll be stopping by to sit in their rocking chairs out front, scan the gift shop, and indulge in some good hometown cookin!

Some of the friendliest employees were working today. From the hostess, to the waitress, and even the cashier, all seemed genuinely happy to be at work. Summer salad menu is low calorie and vegetarian friendly. Even have a sugar free apple pie with sugar free ice cream for dessert. I had not been to a Cracker Barrel in years, but thinking about coming back much sooner next time.

Food is bla but the service is good. The wife loves the little store in the front of the restaurant and that’s all that counts.

Listen, Cracker Barrel is Cracker Barrel. You know what you’re getting. Nothing fancy, but it will taste good, it will fill you up, and it will not do much damage to your wallet. Love this place for breakfast. Always willing to accommodate to substitutions in the meals. Always friendly servers. My one note specific to this location, on a weekday morning there is no wait which is awesome. Probably the only time I’ve ever visited Cracker Barrel and not had to sit in a rocking chair or browse over all the weird stuff in the store for about 30 – 45 minutes waiting to be seated. If you want an inexpensive, homestyle breakfast without a wait on a weekday, this is a great stop.

I am pretty easy to please, I eat almost anywhere but I would not eat here again. When I am on the road, I like a good breakfast to start the day or just a quick one in the car. Made the wrong choice this time and lived to regret it. I had hair in my food and that just did it for me. Avoid this place if you can.

Icky Gross Should have had an egg McMuffin at McDonalds. In retrospect the continental breakfast at hotel wasn’t such a bad option. Our food took forever to arrive and when it did, the most appealing aspect was that the eggs were hard, the pancakes cold and the turkey sausage greasy. The worst part was the long black hair in my husband’s French toast. Eeeew Our waitress was cheerful and the coffee was hot but overall a disgusting meal. Maybe a stick of gum will help me forget.
