This is what I imagine friendly general store would have felt like in the good old days. It is a former gas station now convenience store + sub shop with not else much nearby. There are a couple booths and high top tables. I had an excellent chicken salad sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasty. The place is clean and the staff is super friendly. Prices are fine. A nice solid choice if you need to pick up some lunch, a six pack of beer, and a newspaper.

Needed a rest en route from Gorham, Me to Burlington, VT. Stopped here, and decided to order sandwiches. Bragged about their Italian not being a Maine italian — correct — much worse — give me Amato’s every time. Sandwich ordered by wife and son were also very meh — I would continue on into the next town and go to McDonald’s.
However, they were very nice people.
