Favorite pizza in the valley but after they dropped«JP» from the name their prices went up. You need to drop your prices to a more reasonable level. Pizza is great and service just hate paying 20+ for a pie.

Pizza is not what it used to be. Disappointed and will cross this off my list of pizza options.

Old Forge pizza really has gone downhill. Tonight feeling like pizza at home with the family was a disaster. First the order came out wrong. Waiting a second fifteen minutes for a cook at home pizza seemed over the top. When we got the pizza home we found a pizza with 3 slices of tomato and similar amounts of the other topping Spread only over ¾ of the pie The Edwards Forge is under new management. … Poorly done … Should have stuck with the original counter store … I won’t be back

I wish I would have read the reviews here before ordering. Called in a pick up order and it was as if I was the first customer to ever do such a thing – strange for a pizza joint. The pizza had pretty good flavor. Very skimpy on the cheese though. Incredibly over priced, even for the valley, at $ 14 for what amounted to a personal pizza. I will not be returning. Unilocal categorization of «$» needs to be adjusted.

How can I start? My husband had been there before about 2 – 3 years ago. He said it was good ! It made me want to try it. I wish I would not even gone in there. We asked for a full tray to have left over to take home with us. Thinking it was gonna be yummy. It was the worst pizza I had ever had at sit down pizzeria. The frozen Totino’s pizza from Walmart are much testier for under $ 2 and not $ 25 .We had to ask for napkins, we never got water refills… The young waitress was attentive but had her long hair down in the kitchen without a hairnet !!! Should I say more? That should have been the 1st indication

We’ve ordered from here MANY times and the food is fine. But I’ve got to speak up about Gustavo, the«manager» who has an enormous chip on his shoulder and should not, in any capacity, be in the service industry where he has to interact with customers. I left a coat at the bar while waiting on a pizza order because the weather has been so warm and my hands were full of pizzas when we left. Two days later, we called to just ask if the coat was still there since we were driving by, and somehow we got put on the phone with this character and his only comment was, «we are not responsible for your belongings.» To which we said, «we know that — we’re just trying to see if you have it so we can swing by.» Incapable of answering the question and instead, speaking to us in a combative, sarcastic tone, he ended the call by telling us to «never call here again.» We went by anyway and I tried to explain that WEKNOW it’s our fault for leaving the coat and we just wanted to know if they had it; it’s a yes or no question; that we have a home here and we’re regular patrons, to which he said, «lady, I don’t care if you live in the White House.» His logical reasoning was too clouded by his hostility and defensiveness to even really hear what we were saying so it was like talking to a wall. He also chuckled the entire time as this was apparently entertaining — to lose a loyal patron — it’s so amusing I guess. His reaction was bizarre and unprofessional and we won’t ever again be calling Old Forge Pizza, as per Gustavo’s instructions as the amazing«boss-man» over a pizza eatery. It’s just a shame that a belligerent, aggressive and totally unprofessional person somehow has the ability to ruin a relationship with a loyal patron of a few years because I am sure the business owner doesn’t work that hard to acquire customers and build a reputation so his/her«manager» can trash them. Small suggestion: keep that dude in the kitchen or store room where he doesn’t have to deal with human beings.

I’m still hungry but it’s gross. Poor quality, got our order wrong, very overpriced. If you want low quality pizza you can go to a national chain and pay less.

I am hungry but this pizza is gross. Pizza is quite expensive. They use cheap ingredients. Didn’t get our order right. Quite poor quality. If I wanted bad pizza I would go to a national chain and pay less.

Probably the most clueless people running a restaurant I have ever seen and the pizza is very unimpressive. Messed up 2 of our 4 pizzas and saw similar results with other patrons in the restaurant. They seem very confused!!! Besides the pizza quality is greatly below par from other pizza restaurants in the valley(Blue Moose, Vendettas, Local Joe’s). We spend a lot of time here and this is probably the worst restaurant we have visited. Oh and the wings were still bloody and very undercooked. I was highly concerned we would end up with a food born illness.

Take and bake no more. If you enjoy a nice salt lick with barely discernable amount of mozz on your pizza, this is your place. Yes, some of the pizza toppings were fresh, hence the 2nd star. $ 25 for a square pizza of this quality was embarrassing. Common on guys, get your act together.

Sad to say, the dynamic and quality of OFP has drastically changed in the past two years that we’ve been going here. I should’ve known from the unenthusiastic exchange on the phone for a simple to-go order. As soon as I walked in to pick up my order, I saw one woman go to the back and pull out the pre-made pizza crust only to assume that she was making our pizza that I’d ordered 20 min. prior. The quality and service had severely diminished. I should’ve known by the rather empty restaurant. Pizza was terrible, crust was awful and the service matched the taste. Overpriced for what used to be a good value. Writing this one off of my go-to pizza places in the valley.

I can’t begin to tell you how many things were bad about this place. Unless you like mediocre food and have the patience of Job I would highly recommend not visiting. Here are just a few of the highlights… Never received water even though I asked 5 times, asked for silverware for our pizza and salad, after 3 times we got spoons but no forks. We had a jar with about a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese in it and so we asked for a new bottle. After about 30 minutes we actually went up to the bar and asked again. Guess that was the only bottle in the entire restaurant because we never got more(did I mention we were the only customers In the entire restaurant). Let’s see, oh yes I asked for a glass of Pinot noir, they were out of the specific brand I asked for, I told her just to bring me any Pinot noir they had. After 45 minutes and a trip to the bar to remind her, she comes back and asks again what I wanted. Arghh! 10 more minutes pass by and here comes a glass of white. Seriously? Well she leaves it and returns with some sort of red wine. She must of put the white in the only wine glass they had In the restaurant because the red one is in some weird glass you might find when you order a beer flight. I know that sounds a little pretentious, but the glass was like a shot glass. Pizza was just ok. I will say they were pretty quick at getting those out.

Well if this is a 4 star pizza place, the folks that go here really need to get out more. First, the pizza was ok… maybe 2.5 stars. Second, the service was Epically poor, I mean like on a sitcom almost comically bad. My wife ordered a glass of Pinot, it didn’t come, I went up to the bar and reminded them after 10 minutes, they delivered the pizza and I asked for the wine, she said«what wine do you want», at this point it’s been 15 minutes mind you. My wife said I want the Pinot Noir, finally she was brought a glass of Chardonnay! My children’s table asked for silverware, the waitress brought spoons! What good are spoons in a pizza place??? Even better she set the spoons down on the pizza! Just in case you think it was packed… uhh nope just 4 tables. Don’t go for the pizza, if you want an adventure or hope to be in an episode of «save my restaurant» this may be the place for you. I have written hundreds of reviews, first one star!

Ordered a pizza. Got gluten free even though we didn’t order it that way. Took pie home and attempted to put it in oven. It went all over the place. Oven was a complete mess. Wow horrible experience! Other non gluten free pies were average at best. They did offer a refund at least

No idea why this is rated so well. We ordered a Miner with red sauce and it is missing ingredients and has no flavor. It’s like eating cardboard.

So I ordered a medium veggie pie and 12 wings from this place for delivery. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza, but they definitely skimped on the toppings. They loaded it with black olives, but only put 5 small slices of green pepper on the pie. I asked for garlic and basil to be added as well and never tasted garlic. For 35 $ worth of food I was highly unimpressed. Pizzas are not hard to make, is it too much to ask for an array of veggies in every bite? I guess so because all I tasted was black olives and crust. Wings were descent but easily had better at multiple other places. Probably the first and last time I eat here.

I grew up eating pizza from the famed four corners of pizza in Old Forge PA. I was not disappointed here. I had the thin crust pizza, and it was excellent. You can order it Old Forge style, or Thin Crust. Topping selections are extensive. If I lived here Id be a regular, but it’s back to PA for us.

My rating is an average of two extremes. The service was not good(2 stars because at least they weren’t rude) The pizza, excellent(5 stars) I walked in to place an order to go. Two parties were seated in the dining room and at the bar. A lady was ordering at the counter and a couple guys were waiting to order before me. I don’t know what the deal was with the lady ordering. If English wasn’t my native tongue, I would have thought there was a language barrier. They took WAY longer than a pizza order should take. I didn’t read the newspaper the next day so I can’t say for certain that they didn’t broker peace in the Mideast. The phone then started ringing and instead of answering and putting them on hold, she just let it ring and ring and ring until the caller gave up. She proceeded to pour beers for the guys ahead of me. She did not know how to pour a beer and wound up pouring about a pitcher down the drain. She then let the people sitting at the bar know their order got messed up. The phone started to ring again but this time she decided to answer it and take the order instead of even acknowledging that I was there. Finally after 15 minutes she was ready to take my order. She didn’t repeat my order back and I had a funny feeling she didn’t get it right. Yay me! I was riight. She had to take few minutes to figure out how to correct it in the computer. A guy came in to pick up his order. She brought it out and I recall the guy asking what the green stuff was on it. She explained something to the effect of incidental lettuce and then went to do something else. A few minutes later he had to ask her if she wanted him to pay for it. About 40 minutes into my wait, she looked at me like I was vaguely familiar and asked«What did you order again?» I told her. «Did you want that baked?» «I was kinda hoping so» though I thought I might be better off taking it unbaked so I could eat it the same night. Five minutes later she came out and handed me the pizza box. It obviously did NOT just come out of the oven. «You already got your salad, right?» «No.» A few minutes later she came out with the salad and finally muttered«Sorry» Total time: 50 minutes. I have worked in the pizza business and know things«happen» but they weren’t even busy. When we got home I found the pizza excellent albeit cold. It did have a bit of incidental lettuce on it but I loved the crust… Thick yet crispy with a hint of butter. After microwaving a bit, it was way good and almost worth the headache of getting it. If you care more about the quality of pizza than service, this is the place for you. Order it in and no matter what you order, I recommend asking to «hold the lettuce.»

My first time to visit this restaurant. Was craving good pizza and bummed that Blue Moose has such a long wait. Wow, the pizza is amazing! The crust is super good. Had the Butcher pizza, incredible taste — love the home made meatballs. Found my new favorite pizza in the Vail Valley!
