Small town restaurant, the owners are very sweet and had a valentine’s day special free desserts and salad bar as a promo. They even decorated for V-day. Its a little ways off the freeway but its good homestyle food.

Very friendly staff. Brisket was a little dry, but the BBQ sauce took care of that. Really tender with a nice bark. Small plate was more than enough food. Cost $ 23 for the two of us including drinks and tax. Very clean

YUMM! So not much choice for real food in Edna so I stopped in here one night for dinner while I was in town for work. I got their medium plate with turkey, brisket, and my 2 sides were pinto beans and corn. I love«bark» on my bbq meats and this place had a killer rub that made some awesome meat«bark»!! The pinto beans are really good too… has a kick to them. I saw they also had some chopped bbq meat so I had to go back the next day and get a chopped meat sandwich on a bun and their potato casserole for a side… that chopped sandwich is killer… their bbq sauce is money and that potato casserole just topped it off for a rad lunch.

Heads up — Frontier BBQ is back, and with it’s original owners! I came passing through Edna, TX two weeks ago on my way up to Houston with the family. Decided it was time for a break and for lunch so I googled nearby BBQ spots. First hit was Cowboy BBQ, but when we went to park we noticed that they happened to be closed on Mondays. A mere block away stood Frontier BBQ with plenty of trucks in the lot, so we decided to try our hand there. The owners were delightful and the ribs were DELICIOUS. We arrived at just about closing time, but the owners were nothing but kind to us… even took the time to give us a tour of the BBQ pits out back! If in the future I’m ever passing through Edna, TX I will definitely stop in for a pound of those ribs and big glass of sweet tea. Also had: Sausage, brisket, baked beans, corn, and homemade sweet tea. All were great as well!
