This is the best bubble tea place I’ve found in Edmonds. They have lots of flavors to chose from but I trend to just get my standard taro. Live that to can get splenda to lighten the calories. Great place to hang out and play some games they have available.

I went to Yunnie’s location in December only to find out the name changed. I miss Yunnie. So many days in the summer would be spent here. I remember the first time I went there back in high school. And the people who worked there were always so nice, and were willing to give me the student discount even when I was in college. :P Edmonds isn’t the same without you. And The Coolness Café just isn’t the same…

Sorry to be mean, but don’t go here. I thought Pochi in Ranch 99 plaza taste bad, but this place is even worst.

I love Yunnie bubble tea! They are pretty much my go-to bubble tea place due to the fact that: 1) They are extremely close to where I live(always a bonus with me) 2) They serve a mean Strawberry-Passion Fruit shake w/coconut jelly. 3) They have a very wide selection(even offering my elusive Mint Bubble Tea that I love oh so much but have a hard time finding sometimes). The décor is also really cute and a nice place to relax if you’re planning on doing some studying or just hanging out with some friends.

I’ve been coming here regularly for four or five years now… there is nothing like a refreshing pineapple bubble tea with mango star jelly on a warm day! Heck, I’ll even drink the shakes in the middle of winter, NOTHING gets between me and my Yunnie! I’ve tried many other bubble teas and they just don’t do it for me — Yunnie has somehow managed to create a texture and consistency of bubble tea that is always satisfying and delicious. I’ve probably tried more than half of the bubble tea flavors to date, but I’m a sucker for fruity flavors and my absolute favorites are coconut, peach, honeydew melon, and pineapple. Mmmm.(Note: the peach bubble tea tastes and smells like gummi Peach-O’s! What’s not to love?) Minus one star because the parking is almost always bad(it’s in a really tiny shopping area and there aren’t many parking spaces at all). And every once in a blue moon my tea flavor will be really weak and it makes me sad.

I was really disappointed. Their Japanese green tea with milk was too watery. It had no taste at all. It was also expensive. I paid $ 3ish for a cup of that green tea without any bubbles.

I love this place because of the staff, the wide selection of treats, and it’s near my house. I’ve been coming here ever since they opened and never once left disappointed. When you first open the door the kind of cow bell on the door sometimes catches you off guard if your half asleep. On a weekend night you’ll find some kickin’ tunes playing and a couple of TVs. You walk up to the counter and you will be greeted by a friendly worker who smiles at you no matter how busy they are. If you are going here for the first time step aside and look at the menu in amazement and let the party behind you order, there’s so many choices. I think I’ve tried every milk tea flavor at least once. My favorite in the Summer is the avocado/mango shake. For some of you who are new to the scene it may sound strange but I think it’s the bomb(in a good way). An Icy is always a good alternative to a Slurpee. If it’s cold outside get your favorite milk tea flavor in the hot version. My wife’s favorites are either the jasmine or taro milk tea. My 5 year old daughter always order strawberry with strawberry jelly but I think she’s becoming like daddy and decided she’s going to have something new each time we come here. You can always combine two flavors here also for a few cents more, be adventurous and create your concoction. If you don’t like the texture or the tapioca then get one of the many different flavors of jelly or pudding. I think this is only available in the Summer but I would highly recommend the shaved ice bowl. After you order grab a game, book, or magazine from the shelf as you wait for your order and relax at one of the tables. Oh yeah, don’t forget to start a stamp card when you order, who can argue a free drink later on down the road. The games here include Connect Four and Jenga. My daughter love the Connect Four just to make pretty patterns and the Jenga set to build houses. As you leave the staff always says«bye» if they see you. This is my Friday routine: 1. Buy a $ 5 grab bag for my daughter from the gift store next door 2. Walk in Yunnie and notice what’s playing on the stereo 3. Chat with the staff 4. Order, pay, and get stamp 5. Look at the picture wall and remember what it was like to be in high school 6. Grab a Jenga set 7. Daughter goes through grab bag. 8. Pick up order 9. Kick back with the family

Wow! There were more choices and favors at this joint than the other place I reviewed! This is my new favorite bubble tea place! I do wish this place was closer to my home. I will definitely stop by when I am in the area! The staff was very friendly and explain the different choices/combinations, etc.

I went here on a weekday around 3pm. This tea place is in a little shopping center that is usually pretty dead. The tea itself was just fine, I had Jasmine Green Tea. The boba was not good at all. It was way too squisy, almost slimy. I think it had been cooked and then just sitting for hours. With so many other places to get boba near my home, I will not be returning to Yunnie.

I was scared of bubble tea for the longest time. Those tapioca things that are usually in the bottom particularly freaked the hell out of me. So I never tried it… I watched my friends get it and eagerly suck it down, but I was always sort of turned off to the thought of trying it. Little did I know that all it would take to get me to try the stuff was meeting the boy I like there. But I realize that all this time… I was wrong about the stuff — it’s actually really good! And well, Yunnie Bubble Tea is pretty damn awesome, I must say. I’ve been there twice in the last week and a half for a coconut shake w/pineapple jellies and both times came away super pleased. The guy that works there is AWESOME. He’s super friendly and really nice. The prices are super cheap too. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area — it’s sooo good!

Yunnie is the best bubble tea around! There is no comparison, they know how long to soak their tapioca pearls so they aren’t too hard or too mushy. They have great flavors, and also offer a punch card(ask for one if you have to! buy 10 get one free!). Yunnie is also a great place to hang out, they have magazines and games and comfy couches, along with a picture wall which is always fun to check out the different customers! Three cheers for Yunnie! The best bubble tea in Seattle!
