Great food and service! The best fish & chips in town! The daily special menu always has something awesome on it. The owners & staff are amazing!

Great first visit! Perrinville has needed a restaurant and bar for years and this place is a great addition. Kelly was the server and she was very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. I was going to have seafood since that is their specialty but they had rack of lamb as one of the specials and for under $ 20 so I had that plus a cup of bean soup and both were excellent. My friend had a cheeseburger which came on a nice ciabatta bun but it could have been better with pickles and maybe some thousand island dressing since it was a little dry. Very good fries though and the beer was cold, always a good thing! Was such a good experience that I will definitely be back and can’t wait to try the seafood!

Got food poisoning from here the other night. I think it was the shrimp but not sure. I will not be returning.

This is most definitely my most favorite restaurant in the area! It is five minutes from home, which is sooo convenient!
The food is phenomenal, with Greek/​Mediterranean flavors! The value for the quality and amounts of good is perfect!
I highly recommend you pop on into The Hook, order a drink from their full bar, an appetizer or two… Calamari (unlike any calamari you have ever had– the best!), steamed clams, baked feta…
For dinner or lunch, select from the regular menu, fish and chips, Greek salad soup of the day, flat bread pizza, gyro, pasta, or a COD piccata, etc… Or select your culinary delight from the Daily specials! Save room for dessert, and select from a fresh light lemon cake, beignets, tiramisu, Greek nut rolls, etc…

Took my mom here when she was visiting and loved the food. The calamari appetizer was amazing!

Great environment for a date night or with the family. The food is amazing. Oyster shooters, clams, mussels are just a start. The fish is fresh and the seafood dishes are really great.

This is a cute little place in Edmonds. They are a seafood restaurant but make a great margarita! We ordered the capri’s and pita… So good!
For my entrée I ordered the prawn gyro. The prawns are huge! My bf ordered the sampler and I’m glad I didn’t. All of it is deep fried. Still good but not something I would ever order.

Very Charming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. My wife and I visited this place a week or so ago for the first time, and long story short, we’ll be back!
The food is tasty and their selection of beer on tap is great as well. It was a very nice evening out, we are looking forward to going back.
It is a little small, so we had to wait about 10−15mins for our table, which is probably the only negative. Other than that, we loved it!

We drove around for half an hour looking for food. We couldn’t decide until I finally found this place on Unilocal.My son was asking for water the whole time we were driving around. When we sat down they brought water out right away without us even having to ask. Good service.

I have to rave about the Sunday mornings there during football season. This is an excellent place to watch the Seahawks games. They offer a Sunday brunch, happy hour prices on food and bar drinks. They also do trivia and prize drawings throughout the game. I will definitely come there again with friends.

I was told this establishment had great tasting gyros so i immediately dropped everything and sprinted there as fast as i could. It took me a half hour to get there, but it was worth it. The lighting was great, not very noisy, and in general the place was very clean. It took just a few minutes, maybe four, from the time it took to be seated till we got our drinks and food (maybe 4 minutes?)
Anyways i ordered the Gyro which was amazing. Best gyro ive had in a long time! Not to mention their fries are the bomb. The waitress was very professional and ultra-​super nice as well, bonus points in my book. I would glady come back again, great food and stuff.

Great Neighborhood Eatery! Good quality food at a decent price with friendly service and a dynamic owner! If you are in the Lynnwood/​Edmonds area you can’t beat this place! Downtown Seattle, Edmonds, or Mukilteo to get close to the quality of food and service!

We have been here twice now. The first time we ordered a salad and a burger, most recently we ordered gyros. The portions are very good. The quality of the food was great, fresh tasting and seasoned well.
Both times the service was great. The servers were friendly and attentive. We will be back again.

This place is pretty good. Little expensive and it needs WiFi badly. Seafood Linguine and garlic bread was delicious. We’ll be back.

The food & drinks here are AMAZING! Come at happy hour and try out their great deals. We have always enjoyed ourselves. Friendly staff, great food & good drinks.
We always get the «House Steamers» which is an amazing mix of muscles & clams in a garlic tomato base served with bread. It’s a bit like cioppino if you’re familiar with it. Ask for extra bread with this, you’ll need it! The garlicky tomato broth is by far the best part & soaking it up with that bread… Heaven! Whatever they’re doing they’re doing it right! They have good manhattans and even their more female oriented drinks (read sweet drinks) like a lemon drop or apple martini are good.
Their salt & pepper calamari is great. Most places you know you’re getting the frozen rings that are like mush. Here they come out with BIG very meaty strips (3−4″ long and bigger around than your finger) and an amazing home made aioli. I love this calamari so much I usually skip the dip because it’s just that good! This is not a happy hour item but @ $ 12 as of this writing it is absolutely worth every cent.
I don’t have anything negative to say except that I wish I could eat here daily. We have some pretty good seafood options around Edmonds but in my opinion this one takes the prize. A bit out from downtown Edmonds but just drive straight up Olympic view drive and you’ll find it at the Perrinville area.
Try it out, I don’t think they will disappoint.

The Hook is located in Perrinville where there are many empty store fronts in a business development that never quite got going. opened in fall of 2014. the restaurant must be a welcome addition to a neighborhood populated by teriyaki joints and pizza houses because at 6:30 pm on a friday night, i was seated at the last open table in the house, in the bar. throughout our ninety minute stay, there was constant waiting line. so get there early or later if you do not like to wait.
the restaurant is loud, the kitchen is open, there is a nice young lady at the front and the wait staff are well trained and cheerful. there is a full bar with additional table seating for those who prefer to dine in the over-​twenty-​one side although based on the prices, i doubt there will be many families with smallish children occupying precious table space and demanding constant attention as children and doting parents are wont to do.
our server, Kelly was pleasant and checked on us often but not intrusively. i liked there was a staff member assigned to fill water glasses as well as helping to lear tables.
crab and shrimp dip: as expected. i liked that there were enough pita chips for the amount of the dip.
pita and tatziki: very nice creamy, dilly tatziki with just enough of a tang to raise it above the masses. a generous serving of pita chips, sliced cucumber, greek olives, and slice tomatoes.
northwest salmon entrée: guessed the salmon to be about 6 oz. nice grilled finish. the fish was just this side of being in danger of over cooked.
dinner special: roasted lamb gyros. the lamb was «real» roasted lamb that was cut into small cubes. would have preferred slices rather than the cubes. the gyros had too much filling. too much feta cheese and tomatoes etc. that over-​powered the the amount of the cut up cubed lamb. ok, who complains of too much feta cheese? the lamb was seasoned well, but could have had a stronger flavor.
—my lamb gyros was served with fries but when i asked if there is an option of a salad susbsiitution, i was told there is orzo salad and seasonal vegetable substitution which i chose.
1. the orzo salad is a warm «salad».
2. the seasonal vegetable is grilled asparagus cooked to perfection.
dessert: lemonade cake. declared «good» by my dining companion. had a very, very generous serving of whipped cream.
the menu is very broad and varied and seems unfocused which always worries me. but our dinner was pleasant and acceptable.
recommended.
good for dinner if you don’t feel like driving far and away. this is a step above the local american style «bistros», but do be aware the prices will also be a step above.

The food is everything one would expect. Have eaten here three times recently and can’t wait to return. Particularly like the fish and chips, plus the tarter sauce is exactly the way I like it. Evenings can be a bit of a wait as this best kept secret brings folks back for more.

As always I am very excited to try new restaurants, especially when they are in Edmonds and minutes from me. We came in for a light lunch and to check out the menu. The vibe inside is nice and trendy, they have a fairly large, full bar.
We ordered some salads, I had the shrimp Caesar and it was fresh. We also ordered a side of fries. The fries are nice and crispy.
The menu looks very promising and I will be back for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu has a good selection of seafood and a variety of burgers. They offer daily specials and have happy hour 3−6pm and 9-​close.

Friendly service by Carly! I stopped in for a quick bite to check the place out and enjoyed a cold martini and a deliciously fresh and crisp Gyro Salad! I hear they are quite busy at night, which is great for them! I never know why people complain about having to wait for a table… It’s a good sign knowing that so many others want to dine there!
Happy hour is extensive and looks great, I’ll be back! Maybe even this week!

Came here with the family for a casual dinner, but you could also come here to watch the game or bring a date.
The food was tasty, cooked well, seasoned appropriately, and made it clear it was fresh homemade instead of reheated frozen portions. After watching many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares I can say with confidence that this place is the real deal. They are passionate about their business and will treat you well to earn it and keep you coming back.
We look forward to our next meal with them!
