A Sound Chimney & Masonry

Called for an estimate on a crown repair. Came out same day. Awesome. Everyone is very nice. Stated that they could be out by the end of the week for the repair and would call us before they came out. No call, no show. Not too big of a deal as we had some rain storms and thought that might have put them behind. Willing to give the benefit of the doubt and we all know how busy life can get in a hurry. Called the following Tuesday to get an actual scheduled time for the fix. They stated that they would call me back as soon as they talked to the chimney tech and looked up our estimate. Never received a call back. From first impressions, I was very happy and thought this would definitely be the company. After no call backs or anything, Not very happy at all. I understand it is a small job that we needed done, but one that needs to be done never the less to keep our chimney in good condition. This was 3 weeks ago. Had to go with another company.

Sharon Dalton is an absolute wonderful person to talk to. She did ask where I learn about them, but I don’t think she was weeding out customers just because they didn’t find them on Angie’s List.
Someone promptly came out, inspected the chimney and pinpointed the problem and gave me a very reasonable quote — when compared to ones I already got. Unlike the other companies, Sound gave a relatively firm date as to when they will come out to do the work. Most of the other companies simply said they were very busy and would get back to me in a couple of weeks.
