Hideaway Pizza

I love pizza. I have been to New York and this place has the best pizza after New York’s. I also get their Chicken Parm sandwich is so good. That is the best sandwich I every had. The food is fabulous. If you have a chance to go to Hideaway, go. You won’t regret it.

Never again. Had to park a long walk away, carrying g 4 pizzas, got grease on shirt, pizza’s cold. Never again

If I want pizza– I always get Hideaway. Everything about this place is great! From the appetizers all the way to the dessert and the atmosphere –Hideaway does no wrong.
The starter salads are a perfect «starter» size. Both the just beginner and caesar are delish.
I always find it hard to order an appetizer as I enjoy them all so much! We usually end up getting the ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ because everyone enjoys some fried mozzarella cheese sticks and fried mushrooms smothered in ranch!
On to the pizzas… I really love a good pepperoni pizza from hideaway. My suggestion ask for light red sauce if your feeling adventurous my new favorite is DA BOMB pizza. Something about the pizza having a balsamic glaze on top that my taste buds enjoy!
Dessert time! To finish the meal you can never go wrong with a mudslide. A warm oreo brownie with vanilla bean ice cream?!? yum!!!

Our waiter was great, he rolled with the punches. It was his last day of training and when it came to ordering our dessert, he didn’t get it quite right, but quickly told us he would change it and get it back to us. He did make us all laugh and really set the mood for tonight. The food was great, but definitely more expensive. I would definitely go back to this Hideaway!

Truly terrible experience tonight. Was told on call in 30 minutes, they repeated my order correctly. Once there I waited and waited and waited. Finally asked why my order was taking so much longer and the response was «oh they missed one of your pizzas, it’s in the oven now it will be out soon.» No apology. Zero. So after finally leaving with order 25 minutes later, I get home and not only was the other pizza completely cold (because of course it sat for 25+ minutes while they made the one they forgot) but they didn’t even get it right! It was Inedible! Add the lack of apology for your mistake, and I will never be back. I get that the kitchen is going to mess up now and then but find some people who know what customer service is so you don’t lose good customers!

After months of boycott I give my college pizza franchise one more shot. Ordered 3 pizzas/​half baked for 38 $. They were all wrong by the time we arrived home. Edmond Hideaway is a subpar pizza joint living off the name from Stillwater. True story.

Hubby has been taking me to Hideaway since we first start dating and I’d come to visit him. We had taken him to our old college pizza place, so he returned the favor. SO GLAD HE DID!
While they have a great menu, I can tell you we are consistent… Pizza and fried mushrooms are our go to order. While Pizza of the Gods is good, I’m more of a Mob Boss kinda gal. Bring on the garlic and we’ll reek together. This is my favorite pizza place in the area. I like a few others, but if I had to pick just one? HIDEAWAY!
Casual environment and sometimes they have a line, but it’s pizza!

Tried to go here for dinner on a Friday night. The hostess told my husband and I it would be a 15min wait, we waited 30min and watched people who arrived after us (definitely friends of the girls working as hostesses) get seated before us. The party of 3 in front of us also complained. We left and tried calling the manager to complain and sat on hold for too long. The manager should be checking on the front of the restaurant and available to the customers. We will not be back and will be telling our Edmond friends.

Thank you thank you thank you Hideaway Pizza for allowing us to overstay our long welcome past closing time! We do apologize for our lengthy visit but the pizza, drinks and the company of good friendship made our evening extra special! Again thank you for your hospitality!

An Oklahoma staple! Their specialty pizzas are amazingly good. My favorite is the Paradise Pie.

Hideaway is my favorite pizza place in Edmond by far. Always has been. Best original crust ever. It’s seriously so delicious. Everything is awesome.

A late Monday afternoon and I decided a meal at Hideaway Pizza was a good option for early dinner/​late lunch.
I enjoyed the quiet and laid back atmosphere of a revamped downtown Edmond and sat over looking Stephenson Park.
I enjoyed the air conditioning and stared out the large window at the shady green trees of one of Edmond’s oldest park while I waited for my Lasagna to arrive.
The Food arrived pipping hot. The tomato sauce hit my palate first unleashing a torrent of tomatoey flavor. Not so raw as to taste uncooked and not so cooked as to be stripped of its native flavor. «Globe not Roma tomatoes» I surmised.
The small bits of cooked beef faded obediently into the sauce giving their quiet beefiness as a mild undertone to the gravy.
The Mozzarella formed a thin crispy cheese blanket over the bulk of the dish giving the dairy worlds blessing.
The noodles themselves were perfectly yielding in a sub Al-​dente state futilly attempting to separate the layers of creamy Ricotta.
The Ricotta had achieved an almost liquid state fusing with the mozzarella giving it a continuity of flavor that made for a pleasant mouthfeel.
The green flecks of herb scattered on top gave a certain eye appeal but gave nothing to the rich tomato flavor of the dish.
The Garlic toast served on the plate was pleasantly thick and crunchy like two large croutons looking for a big Italian soup.
Their garlic flavor announced itself with each gentle crunch.
The interior of each piece was soft and white surrounded on the sides by the crispy crust and colored on top and bottom by the yellow of the garlic flavored spread.
Not a bad plate of food worth the ordering if you just don’t want their famous pizza.
Worth the inclusion on the menu despite the few places of culinary mediocrity.

Is there an option to give this place more than five stars? We LOVE Hideaway pizza and have been several times. We’ve always had great service and amazing food. There are so many delicious looking pizzas on the menu, but we almost always order the same one: The Totally Truffled. It’s the pizza of my dreams.

This is my favorite pizza hands down. Nice fresh ingredients and creative combinations. Usually get this to go but we have eaten inside a few times and always had a good experience.
Personal favorites– the Olympian and paradise pie. Both are crazy good.
When we are eating right we usually do one splurge meal a week and this is it about 50−60% of the time.

I love this Hideaway Location. More than all the okc ones, and stillwater and norman too! The food is better to me at this one… I really don’t know why. We get take out a lot and the pizzas always seem to be done just who I like them. When I request extra saucy pizza or baked pasta, IT IS! Oh it’s so good. The okc one on western is a cool set up, with the bar. I love that. You know what would be awesome, if hideaway had more «local» events sort of thing. That place really is good and everyone needs to remember to go to it more. I did a lot in high school then sort of forgot about it, but will probably be frequenting it again now. Plain pepperoni is perfect, ask for well done so its nice and crispy and not soggy from all the pepperoni juice (grease)
And please do not look over their baked pastas, they are so very good. What more could a girl ask for? Carbs carbs and carbs. Their baked pastas are definitely not for the meat lovers though. But if you love marinara, especially theirs, order the baked ziti or baked marinara penne, loads of crispy cheese baked hot to perfection
Oh and served with buttery garlic bread.
Okay, I’m hungry got to go order it now. (Which reminds me, new discovery: their online ordering system)

This is a «good» pizza place but I certainly don’t think it’s as amazing as most people do. I don’t find the ingredients to be anything special. Having said that, it’s a fun place to hang out and have some pizza. It can get pretty busy on weekends with long waits. Service seems to be a little spotty sometimes. Some are a bit faster and more efficient than others but it’s usually not a problem.

Big sodas + good hot wings + great pizza = fulfilling meal.
We especially enjoy an order of garlic knots and a Big Country, which is excellent for meat loving pizza eaters.

If you’ve never been to Hideaway, you are depriving yourself of the best pizza in Oklahoma. The Edmond store is very nice and clean. The wait staff are friendly and quick. We ordered from the lunch menu and we’re very happy with the selections. Delicious!

Great Hideaway location. Quality service and pizza every time. If you’re in a rush or taking pizza back to a group, they have reserved to go parking which is nice. I like this location because the staff is really friendly and the food is always good. You should get the fried mushrooms, even if you don’t really like mushrooms. Also the lemonade pie, it is so good. You can’t go wrong with any pizza! If you like the «Stillwater crust» get the thin crust option.

Outstanding! We had the prime rib pizza. It was awesome! Our server Allen was the best waiter I have had in a long time. Overall grade «A+». I’ll see you soon!!!
