A-1 Restoration

A-​1 Restoration is the WORST, most UNPROFESSIONAL, carpet cleaning service I have ever wasted my hard earned money on. First of all, they were 4 HOURS LATE to the appointment that they scheduled with us, and we were the ones having to contact the rude, unpleasant, hefer working in their «office.» Each time we called she would gruffly call back 30 – 45 minutes later to let us know that she couldn’t get ahold of the van but she would let us know when she did. Later I was told by her that their shady, unmarked, old, nasty van had been broken down somewhere, yet no one had contacted her. My first red flag. I arrive to my house to see this rape van parked in my driveway and think to myself I should call the police, then I realize this must be A-​1. Since I had a party scheduled that following weekend, I proceeded to let them clean the carpet. They spoke to my boyfriend and convinced him that for an extra $ 75 they could clean all the pet dander out of the carpet and it would be a «miracle.» When I came to speak with the incompetent workers I specifically asked them if the pet cleaner had the enzyme eliminator in it. He told me YES IT DID. I said well that’s funny because you just told my boyfriend that it was to remove dander and he said no, no ma’am, enzymes. I bet he couldn’t even spell that word. They made my sister extremely uncomfortable and finally left. Within an hour of them leaving the carpet was absolutely DRENCHED and smelled terrible. I was on my hands and knees smelling it, there had been no soap used at all. I immediately began to call the office and left message after message. Of course, no one ever returned my calls. Two days later my carpet was still soaking wet so I called JOKERS CARPET CLEANING, and spoke with Shaun, the owner and ended up paying him $ 200 to come out and clean up the mess they made and re do the entire process. I recommend using him for everything. Had my sister not bought the Groupon for A-​1, this is my go to carpet cleaning service. I finally got ahold of A-​1 and told the lady in the office to NOT put my check through for the extra services because they were not rendered and she told me, «the guys operating the van had not brought her any paperwork and she hadn’t spoken with them and she wouldn’t put my check through.» We agreed that she would call me and I would come pick the check up. Well, the check went through, her call never came, and I was out over $ 400 for carpet cleaning. Do not let these nasty, neanderthal criminals in your home. I honestly was afraid they were casing my belongings. They were unprofessional, unknowledgeable and I have been speaking with my lawyer about what I can do legally for them cashing a check for services not rendered, also they are being reported to the Better Business Bureau, DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!! I can’t believe Groupon allows them to be represented as a vendor for them. I wouldn’t give them negative stars if you paid me. Pricks.
