I have fallen in love with their pizzas. The place is clean. The price is good. Although there is a wait, its always worth it. The guys are very efficient in providing the best service.

Singas famous pizza is hands down best pizza joint I have ever been to. The flavor combinations for the pizzas are unique — jalapeño/pineapple; garlic/spinach; greek, and much more. My family, friends, and I have been going here for years and it just cannot be beaten. The quality of pizza you get, for the money, is not available anywhere else. I wish I can give them more than 5 stars, because they truly deserve it. Keep up the great work Singas!

Pizza was okay compared to others but pies were good for $ 6 or $ 7. We ordered quite a few pies and they were ready by the time we were there. Being cash only is inconvenient but their Unilocal page says that.

On our way home from a friends wedding in Brielle, my friend and I kept seeing signs for a city called Edison. At first, I didn’t think much about it, but then I realized that I knew the name from somewhere. After racking my brain for a few good(hungover) minutes(thank you, open bar), I finally remembered that it was the home to Singas Famous Pizza. All my friends know I have quite an obsession with pizza and so one of my good friends had been raving about Singas to me from the day we met. So naturally, we were going to have to make a tiny pit stop on our route home to get some pizza. My friend had already been there before, so I let him be in charge of ordering. With every two pies that you purchase, you get a third cheese pie free, so the two of us split 3 pies to ourselves: hot peppers, mushrooms + onions and spinach. I know you’re probably thinking that’s a crap ton of food, but don’t worry, they’re pretty much personal pies aka we were able to finish all of it. Every single slice. The pizza at Singas is apparently considered«Indian pizza» but there honestly wasn’t any noticeable difference. It was just delicious«American pizza» to me. So glad I was finally able to get my hands(and mouth) on it. It definitely did not disappoint.

I love their pizzas. Capsicum onion and jalapeños pizza is awesome. Even with less cheese their pizzas taste awesome.

I have been going here since elementary school. They have locations all over from Edison to Sayreville to their original location in Queens. They serve personal pies with a variety of different toppings. Personal favorites are the green pepper onion, the mushroom, and the chicken. With every two pies you order you get a free plain pie, so it’s a great bang for your buck. They only take cash, but the quality is great and the price is affordable. I recommend calling ahead bc ordering while you’re there may require a wait. I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s one of the better pizza places around, but it certainly does the job if you’re feeling pizza for a meal.

Not what I was expecting. I thought it would have an Indian flavor but instead it’s just mediocre normal pizza.

I have heard about NJ famous Pizza a lot but never tried. WE usually go Edison NJ when we are driving to VA or go to NY due to lots of Indian Markets and India Rest. in Edison. This time i was driving back from Delaware after work meeting and we were going to stop at Edison again for dinner and Indian grocery shopping. I knew Shopping would take a while so dropped wifey off and then called my cousin to ask which famous pizza to go to since all pizzeria are famous pizza. Told me go to Singas. Went in completely empty and with doubts in my mind i order Onion Jalapeño pizza. When it came it was pretty big for their one size pizza and 8 bucks price. The first bite i tool and i knew why it is so good. I loved it. the crust was nice, not too much of sauce and cheese was plentiful. I mean only way to describe this pizza was that i was too scared to eat because then it would be gone. so ate half and bought another half back home to boston and ate is 2 days later with same taste. I absolutely loved the pizza and now it is one more extra destination to visit when we are edison NJ again.

It’s personal pies only so if you want a slice of this and or a slice of that, then this is not the place for you. I t’s also not the place for you if you are looking for something that actually tastes like pizza. The crust was actually very good but everything else about my «Singa Special» was totally mediocre at best. The green peppers were undercooked, the onions and olives had absolutely no flavor, the pepperoni and sausage had less flavor than the onions and olives. The cheese was OK but the sauce was non-existent. I forgot to mention the mushrooms. More likely I am trying to forget them. They looked and tasted like they were straight from the can. Despite all the toppings, this was easily the most lacking in taste slice of pizza that I have had in awhile. Plenty of parking, the place was clean, no credit cards, and not exactly service with a smile. While many others seem to like this place(my personal pie could have fed 2), it’s not for me.

The #1 thing about this place is consistency. I’ve been coming to the place intermittently for almost 15 years since I was a kid, and the taste never changes. In fact, the prices have only raised slightly in that time as well and the décor and staff are essentially similar as well. This is not authentic NY style pizza but it does have a distinct dough that makes the taste come alive. It is definitely best eaten fresh right out of the oven and tends to get dry when warming up leftovers, so definitely try and eat in the restaurant if it is not too busy. Definitely call ahead on weekends — it gets super busy and the wait time can be upwards of 40 minutes for your pizza.

Great pizza, but not the best pizza place for those used to NYC pizzerias. It does have a distinctive taste that is hard to get tired of. They go light on the sauce, and the taste is derived mostly from the bread and cheese. I like the pizza here, and they also offer a great deal buy 2 get one pie free. My rating: 4⁄5 = excellent.

I remember coming here as a little kid and my parents getting my sibs and I endless number of pizzas! Sooo many great childhood memories were here! They have pretty much every topping available! Green and pepper and the jalapeño are a few of my faves! They’re super quick on the order, great prices, and perfect for a family feast! Dont eat it cold or take it home though, not as good. This is the type of joint you go there and eat your tummy away :) and buy 2 get 1 free? HELLO. Perfect. Grab your friends and families and get over here!

Reviews with high praise must have really low standards. Unilocal, you let me down. Pizza sauce is bland. I’ve had better crust from a sketchy street vendor.

Personalized pizzas that don’t skimp on the toppings. It is New York style pizza loaded loaded with fresh toppings. Singas’ deal of buy 2 pizzas get a free cheese pizza could easily feed 3 – 4. Enjoy this gem.

I don’t know how anyone could give Singas less than 5 stars!!! I lived in Edison for quite a few years and their pizza has always been consistent. There’s something about this pizza that makes it incomparable to any others and it’s just delicious! You won’t find pizza like this anywhere else! I always stick to a few select pies because I’m so satisfied with them: jalapeño(spicy), onion and/or green peppers; however, I’ve heard great reviews about their pineapple and Greek pies! I get them all done with light cheese and extra sauce and they never get it wrong. The employees haven’t changed much over the 8+ years I’ve been coming here, which in my eyes says a lot about their management. Big kudos to them. I don’t live in Edison anymore, but whenever I’m in the area, I make it a point to stop by and pick up some pies(buy 2, get 1 free!). Call in 15 – 20 minutes ahead of time on weekends, as it gets really busy! Great prices, great food, great service, what more could you ask for?

Although Singa’s is in Little India and is frequented by Indian customers, it is NOT an Indian-style pizza joint. Shed any expectations of tandoori chicken pizzas and the like at the door. What Singa’s does offer is very good, very reasonably priced NY style pizzas. They only carry one size, individual. It’s a little too small to fill me up, so I need to scavenge a couple slices from my companions, but it may be enough for your appetite. The toppings are all very fresh(especially the veggies), and the cheese has a good salty flavor with a melty, pleasantly chewy texture. The sauce is average and while the crust has a crispy crunch it can run a little dry. Singa’s also offers a buy 2 get 1 plain free special, which really cuts back on costs. My main issues with Singa’s are its cleanliness and service. The pizzas are served hot and fresh but sans smile. The often crowded dining room is not gross but not totally clean either. Half of that is the patrons’ fault though, as they tend to leave trash everywhere. SInga’s is thus better for takeout than eating in. In any case, Singa’s has probably the best pizza in the area. If you’re not keen on the great Indian options in the area or just want a solid pizza, this is your place.

No paneer or chicken tikka pizza?! What! I thought Singas had«indian pizza.» Apparently not. Anyways, the pizza is A-Ok and thus 3 stars. We had the Greek, veggie, and one other that I forget. Nothing special or amazing. Of the 3 we tried, the best was the Greek. It had some feta cheese and olives and I’m not sure what else. The crust is thin and there isn’t too much sauce. Good value and not bad but I’m in no rush to come back. Oh, and it’s cash only.

NEWFAVORITEPIZZAPLACE. Who knew an Indian owned pizza place could do it better than the Italians? Maybe it’s just my style, and how I like my pizza. I had the HARDEST time finding this place though! I would have never known it even existed if it weren’t for Unilocal.I actually was with a party of about 10 people, but having such a difficult time finding the place, 7 of them just gave up to fill their tummies at Burger King around the corner. So I ended up going in with 2 of my friends on a Friday at 6:15PM. Nobody was in the store at the time. We ordered the Onion & Pepper, Mushroom, and the 3rd personal pizza was free, but we decided to put a topping on it for just 1 more dollar. We chose to do Jalepeño. The bill came out to $ 13.30 altogether w/tax. SCORE. The man told us it’ll take about 10 minutes, though I think it took more like 15. As we were waiting for our pizza, a million phone calls orders came in, a dozen people in & out the door to pick up, and then the seats started filling up. We could hear the man start to say«Okay it’ll take about 20 minutes… 30 minutes… 40 minutes!» Good thing we got in early. We got our pizzas and they’re about 10−12″ in diameter. I was so blown away by how good it was. It wasn’t drenched in greasiness. The dough was thin and crisp, and the crust was crunchy. The onion & pepper made such a great combination. I stole my friend’s jalepeño slice which was definitely spicy, but I love spicy so it was good. I don’t know that I’d want to eat an entire personal pie of just jalepeño though. I didn’t try the mushroom because I don’t like mushrooms, but my friend really enjoyed hers. I shared one slice of my onion & pepper, but devoured the rest. It was so flavorful and fulfilling. By the end of our meal, we looked around and the entire restaurant had filled up with people. No wonder! It’s amazing! While the other 7 of my impatient friends went to Burger King and spent $ 6 – 7 each on a fake crappy fast food meal, I spent around $ 4.50 on an entire pie of this pizza goodness to myself. I will sooooo be back for more, but I’ll know if it’s around dinner rush, that I’ll just call in and order for pick up. There were people carrying huge boxes of like 20 pizzas out the door. I’m sure this place is perfect for catering a pizza party! Super affordable and delicious.

You can’t go wrong with Singas! no matter what pizza we order, which location we go to(JC, Edison, Parsippany are the three we have been to so far)… the food is consistently good. Flavors are great… dough is nice and thin, crispy with a slight bite. Sauce has great flavor, and the cheese is nice and simple. All of that, with the prices they charge. Great for one person, or a party! can’t go wrong with Singas!
