Rude and surly staff. Unsavory guests. Mold-infused rooms. Five police cars shaking the place down after check in. Mid advertised price. Stay across the street for $ 40 more at a real hotel, that’s clean and professional.

By far the worst place I have ever stayed. Carpets dirty? OK I’ve seen that before but how about crumbs in the made bed?! *DINGDINGDING* We have a winner! Bathroom floor wet in some places with a pervasive urine odor, so I threw a towel down and the white towel quickly turned yellow and suspicions were confirmed. The front desk personnel’s customer service skills were among the worst I’ve encountered, she really turned on her«Jersey Charm» and did the hospitality industry proud. At the end of the day I understand you get what you pay for and have stayed in multiple budget hotels but there were several times I honestly wanted to go out to my car and sleep in the back because it was so loud and dirty.

I have stayed at about 20 red roofs in the last few months. This one is one of the worst. Overall everything was about average but a nice shower could make any bad stay worth while. Not at this location. It barely drizzled out and the toilets barely flush. Consider else where

Most roadside motels simply don’t deserve more than 3 stars, but because they provide a needed service for cheap, philosophically they have to work to get downgraded. This one did work to get downgraded, but I kept this at 2 stars instead of just one because the beds, the main attraction, were good. A basic rundown: On the negative side Surly staff Cigarette Smoke smell. In a non smoking room. Toilet that cycles flush /no flush on its own Worthless coffee On the plus side Beds were quite comfortable
