Pinnacle Federal Credit Union

I’ve had very little interaction with this company beyond their website for a car payment. Their website says you can pay with every major credit card, yet month over month when I try to may with an American Express, it fails.
I called several months ago with this problem and the woman on the phone was nice enough, but couldn’t give me any real answer beyond «we’re working on ‘fixing’ it».
It seems pretty obvious that they don’t want to accept AMEX, but who knows. I wish they would fix their website and just be honest about the fact that they don’t accept AMEX.
I’m writing this review in the hopes they fix this problem OR update their website to be honest and admit that they don’t accept AMEX. I will update my review if one of those actions are taken.

Prior to doing some research, I didn’t realize that «just anybody» could join a federal credit union. You may join the American Consumer Council if you are not affiliated elsewhere. There are no additional fees and you only need $ 5 to open an account. The loan officers are friendly and helpful. Andrea worked diligently on my car loan. They will work with unique situations and get supervisors, such as Arlene, involved, who was excellent. She is the person who really saw this through and always gave me an answer (and the correct one). Try to deal with only one person if possible because they don’t always speak among each other. Ask lots of questions and check out their many options for savings and vacation clubs. It’s worth it! They have online banking and the lowest interest rates around. Highly recommended.
