honestly, this bakery is not all that. yes, SOME of their pastries, cakes and etc are good, but i think they can be too overpriced. i rather go to «La Bonbonniere Bake Shoppes» also located in edison, for their AMAZING cake. anyways, the reasons why I gave it a one star is because of their costumer service! ive been here many times for their pastries and bubble tea, and yesterday, i came in again and ordered bubble tea with other pastries that cost for almost $ 20(total) and when i was waiting and watching the girl making my drink, i noticed that there was no tapioca. so then i told her that i ordered mine with tapioca.(mind you, there was barely people during this time, and as she was making the drink, the manager that took my order was watching her the whole time.) and then, she took a new cup and put tapioca and poured the drink into the new cup that have the tapioca. after that, the manager came up to me and said, «if you want bubbles is 50 cents more(and he was pointing at the register.) «and i told him, «i did said i want my drink with bubbles» and he kept on telling me to pay the 50 cents. so at the end, i said, «its okay, i dont need bubbles.» you probably think, why didnt i just pay the 50 cents, cause its only 50 cents. the reason being is because 1st. he wasnt paying attention to my order that i want tapioca. 2nd. he was there the whole time, even when i told the lady that i ordered mind with bubbles.(why didnt he came and talked to me before she pour the drink to the new cup) 3rd. even after i said never mind i dont want bubbles, and she already pour the drink to the new cup, he poured it back to the old cup(the one that dont have bubbles.) 4th, after that, he took the«dirty» bubbles that had my drink on it and washed in the sink and poured in back into the tapioca container. Lasltly, the reason why i got so pissed is because i also work in a restaurant, and if we get people’s order messed up, we simply give them what they want and tell them to just keep the«wrong» order for free. doesnt matter if it cost 50 cents or $ 6.00. i dont even know if these manager is even professional enough to get their servsafe certificate.

The photogenic pastries here from South Korea’s famous bakery café brand are as beautiful as they are delectable, with higher-end price tags like its neighbor H-Mart. To ensure freshness, it seems that breads, buns, and single-serve pastries are baked in the morning and not replenished until the following day. You won’t find much before closing, but items that remain unsold at the end of the day are sometimes discounted.

I really enjoyed this bakery, and a lot of my bookmarked places are actually in the same plaza, so now I know exactly where I am going. First of all the place is so clean and bright, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. You walk in, take a tray, take a tong, and grab whatever baked goods you would like, and there is a lot to choose from. They have Cronuts, macaroons, cake, shaved ice, cream puffs, and a large selection of coffee and tea. I had the green tea cake with strawberries and cream. The cake was perfect, so moist and light and the green tea flavor is light. The cream inside is a light not so sweet type. I don’t love overpowering sweetness so this was really perfect for me. I literally found my perfect dessert. My husband did not enjoy his whatever he got, lol I forgot, but he only likes Italian pastries really so this was just not his cup of tea. I had a vanilla latte also that I really enjoyed. This is a chain and it is French influenced but it is more of a French influenced Asian bakery. There are a lot of bean buns, shaved ice, green tea flavored things, which is great don’t get me wrong. Just don’t come here expecting a ton of authentic French desserts. I will be returning, I really enjoyed my visit here. This was one of the first trips somewhere that I don’t think I would have discovered without Unilocal

Went to this place around 7 pm and there was hardly any choices of cakes left and this happened to me 3rd time. I wonder why they have such a big pastry shop with not much of choices. This is fairly disgusting for such a brand name and hardly any choices. I would expect them to have at least 5 to 10 varieties of cake and pastries options for the kind of price they charge.

I discovered this place a month back when I was randomly craving a pastry but ended up buying a whole cake from here, they looked beautiful. The cakes are awesome. I haven’t tried the other stuff as yet. The first time I went there, I got the Blueberry yoghurt cake which is the best one I have eaten from them till date. Second time I got a romance cake which was not as good m, the bread was a little dry which can might be because I picked the cake up at 9pm. My third time was a chocolate chiffon cake which was again too good and creamy. The best part about them is that the cakes come in fresh every morning.

This chain bakery is located right next to the Korean food market, H-mart. The environment feels great and it is very welcoming. I have been here a few times and bought two different types of cakes. The first that I got was the green tea roll cake. The cake was absolutely perfect. Super fluffy and moist with sweetness that is just right. The second cake I got was even better. It was a fresh made chocolate cake with fruit in top and vanilla and strawberry filling. It is $ 37 so I was weary spending that much but my god is it worth it! Just as the green tea cake, it was just the right amount of sweetness and totally fresh and fluffy. The icing was more of a whipped cream than icing, which I loved. They are also great if you just want a small desert after stuffing your face at one of the neighboring restaurants. To top it off you get a chuckle out of seeing a bunch of asians dressed as if they were Parisians.

I’ve been looking for a decent cronut place in Jersey and boy did I find one. The store is located inside a huge plaza so there is plenty of parking. Nicer temperature allows for some outdoor seating. There is casual seating in the inside with a great ambiance. You can either choose pre-packaged goods or grab one of their trays and choose some of their daily made delights. They also accepts card here! Blueberry Yogurt Cronut |($ 3.75) Felt like I was biting into a piece of heaven! There were many crunchy layers toasted to perfection. A lot of cronuts I’ve tried in the past were way too sweet with their filing and/or icing combination however this one had a perfect balance with sweet and tang. Sweetness from the blueberry and tang from the yogurt. When you’re eating it you’re going to make a mess and your fingers will be greasy but oh totally worth it. Organic Mango Smoothie with Bubbles |($ 4.95) Typically I’ve tried the flavored green or black tea with the bubbles but this would be my first smoothie and it was as expected. It was sweet but not too sweet. It reminded me of an Indian drink called Frooti Tootie(mango juice in a box) just with bubbles added. To the mango purée they added some powders which might have been stabilizers or flavor enhancers but I’m not sure. None the less, it tastes great! They also have your tradition milk and taro tea with bubbles as well. I’m definitely coming back to try their other goodies and some of their pre-packaged goodies to take home!

Their pastries and cakes are super yummy and fresh baked/prepared, but also pretty pricey. If you want a place to study or to relax for a bit with someone though, this is a great spot! Came here with my mom after dinner and we shared a lemon blueberry tart(so good) and just chatted for a while. Also, no shaved ice in the winter =(

Paris Baguette is a South Korea Chain Bakery, and is located near the H-Mart. The bakery itself has a lot of different selections available: starting from the small cakes, bigger cakes, sandwiches, yogurts, tarts, donuts, korean traditional pastries(e.g. red bean bread), «americanized» pastries, and many more! I very much appreciate the drinks that they serve. I may be a coffee addict, but I love the combination of their coffee and their sweet baked goods!(Ohhh and they have good bubble teas as well!) I also love how they have many seatings available inside the store. The store itself is pretty nice. It is not quite, but not tooo noisy! So Paris Baguette is a perfect place to hang out with your friends! Imagine yourself with sweet goodies+ warm coffee + people who you like!!! Doesn’t it sound amazing?

Not Parisian in the least, and, from my experience, not a baguette on the menu. But most people just need to see«Edison, NJ» and they can come to the right conclusions. Yes, Paris Baguette is Asia-kitsch with a multinational flair – not unlike Caffe Bene. So many of these Korean corporate confections have the same underlying mentality: huge emphasis on visuals and a wow-factor, less focus on critical details. From the neon Eiffel Tower signage to the bejeweled blue interior, the place is far more chic and sophisticated than the strip mall setting deserves. And it certainly boasts long hours and bustling scene. The pastries on display look great, and my chicken salad sandwich on croissant tasted nice, though the way it had been cut had two drawbacks: 1) it made it look much larger than it was, 2) it completely fell apart after one bite. The coffee is adequate and reasonably priced, but a place that looks this good should have better than adequate coffee. And the signature item – the cronut – was disappointing to me. The croissant aspect was so buttery that it overpowered the blueberry, rendering the fruity aspect unnecessary and making the whole thing seem like a greasy, circular croissant. I much preferred the raspberry/hibiscus treat, which I think Paris Baguette calls something else. But it’s basically a donut. Beyond that, it should convey a coffee-shop vibe, but I was overwhelmed by the signage boasting their seasonal offerings(which made it feel that much more like a chain). And the virtual complete absence of plug outlets makes lingering with a computer difficult. Furthermore, the wifi didn’t work, and the cashier just responded with a guilty smile when I asked if wifi is likely to work in the future. For French delicacies in a franchise setting, you’re better off with La Madeleine. For a coffee shop vibe, try the local offering in any town in northern New Jersey. At Paris Baguette, the most satisfying offering is the blue neon.

My parents found out about Paris Baguette recently and went a little bread crazy. Right before lunch, they thought it would be a great idea to get 5 different pastries to split. Dessert before lunch is definitely the way to go. Best thing about this place is they post the calories for every item. At least now I know how guilty I should feel when eating these delicious pastries and breads. Garlic Sweet Potato Pastry — what an interesting combination. Savory from the garlic and sweet from the sweet potato. I was initially confused at this flavor profile, but liked it in the end.(300 calories) Almond Cream Apple Pastry — Pretty much like an apple turnover. Not sure where the cream came in. But I don’t like cream so this was good to me.(310 calories) Almond Pastry — Their rendition of an almond croissant. I don’t really like fake almond flavoring, but this was delicious. No fake almond flavoring and all the flaky goodness.(380 calories) Green Tea Red Bean Pastry — Wasn’t a huge fan of this one. Too much cream.(390 calories) Sweet Potato Bread — I like this one because the filling isn’t too sweet. If you want something softer and bready get this instead of the pastries.(350 calories) My absolute favorite thing to get at Paris Baguette is the Pumpkin bread with black sesame seeds. So soft and fluffy. My trip to Paris Baguette is never complete without getting the pumpkin bread. Their cakes are perfect for a party. Unless you eat ginormous slices, the small one serves more than the 10 – 12 it advertises. For the cakes, I’ve tried the mocha buttercream, green tea chiffon, green tea blueberry cream, and cappacino buttercream. Favorite was definitely the mocha buttercream.

My family brought me here earlier today so I could choose my own birthday cake. I was leaning towards Tous Les Jours since I know someone who buys cake there often(and keeps it all to herself!), but I opted for this bakery instead. The pastry section is «open,» meaning they’re all organized on trays without glass hovering over them or anything you have to lift. Everyone here is also very friendly and welcoming. Crème Brulee Bombol and Coffee Cream Bombol($ 1.75/ea): These are awesome! The coffee cream really tastes like coffee, but it isn’t overpowering. However, my favorite one is the crème brûlée. It reminds me of a cream puff but much more decadent and rich. Blueberry Yogurt Cronut($ 3.50): I’ve never had a cronut prior to today, but now I understand why there was so much hype around them. The yogurt cream inside the cronut was probably my favorite part of this, since it has a strong blueberry flavor but only a subtle sweetness. Curry Croquette($ 2.50): These remind me of the curry croquettes I used to buy at the Hamby night market in Okinawa. Each croquette is fried well, but retains its light crispiness. The curry is tasty, but I would’ve liked a curry that was a bit more flavorful. It was very mild. Sweet Red Bean Donut($ 2.15): These are similar to the croquette, but with a different filling. The sweet red bean is good and does not taste like the canned stuff. Like everything else, this is not excessively sweet, which makes me happy. Chocolate Chip Scone($ 2.40): I am not fond of scones, but these were pretty good. They are dense, moist, and have a light sweetness. The chocolate chips add just a hint of chocolate without overpowering the scone itself. Green Tea Chiffon($ 36): This is the birthday cake I chose and it was the right choice! I was actually looking for the strawberry green tea cake, but how can you turn down chiffon? The green tea flavoring is light, but you can still taste it in the green frosting and in the chiffon itself. It is topped with two macarons, a couple of blueberries, and a sliced strawberry on top. Of course, the cream between each layer of cake is enough to win me over. I would definitely order this again! I’ve been to similar bakeries around Asia and the prices are actual pretty similar; everything here is reasonably priced. Overall, I would definitely come back to try the other goodies they offer.

Paris Baguette is a Korean coffee and bakery. Generally speaking, I feel the pastries and coffee are quite overpriced. I enjoyed the rice donut and the iced coffee. The place is crazy busy on the weekends and people are not always polite.

Oh, I’m in trouble… I first had Paris Baguette on a trip to Seoul earlier this year, then saw they had a few in Manhattan. And then they just HAD to go and open a branch a temptingly short drive from my parent’s house! So now I can look forward to gaining 5 pounds every time I visit them, because this place is addictive. I don’t go for pastries or sugary drinks much but they’re so much better than the garbage you get in supermarkets and even a lot of regular American bakeries. If you’re gonna up your calories and blood sugar levels, at least do it some place worth it! I’ve had their version of the cronut(had to split it because it was so rich), which was delicious. My personal favorite is their mini cheese-cake(the one that comes wrapped in plastic and looks like a flatter oval cupcake), which is more like an actual cake but more custard-y. Hard to describe but too easy to eat! The frappes are nice on a hot summer day. The horchata is my favorite and the speculoos cookie one is just some sort of liquid sorcery. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous and if you’re picking something up for a party they also helpfully offer little cards to go along. Service has mostly been friendly and helpful when I’ve been. They’re open pretty late, but even if I’ve been mid-afternoon they’ll run out of a lot of the good stuff!

When you step in here you just want to try all the pastries! That’s the common theme here. Pastries and prepared sandwiches look delish, cakes look too pretty to eat, and the stuff you buy are nicely packaged with sturdy boxes and bags. You are mostly paying extra for the packaging as each pastry will be about $ 2 and up. Don’t get me wrong most of everything you order here will be tasty. It’s because everything is very rich and buttery! It’s a café like environment. There’s iced and hot beverages, coffees and teas. There’s also asian shaved ice.

What a creative idea! If you’ve ever been to Au Bön Pain it will slightly remind you of there based on the layout. When you walk in, you grab a tray and tongs and walk around to the stations to get whatever parties you want. There are also sandwiches — turkey avocado, egg salad, and a few more — and salads. The party selection is overwhelming in a good way. There is a whole section with cakes and then a variety of things from croissants to cheese filled donuts. There is a whole coffee bar option with things from shaved iced to regular coffee. There are plenty of tables, wifi, and a good space for groups because you can move tables together. I had an ice coffee and tried a few things. A green tea croissant, a cream cheese Danish, and a cheese filled donut. All are big and you can share. When you are driving to the location, just pull in where you see the big sign for H Mart because it’s in that strip mall. definitely coming back!

Love Paris Baguette! I’ve been to several other Paris Baguettes in the city, and all are consistently yummy, but I have to say that the quality here in edison is just a tad bit better. The treats are cute, thoughtfully decorated, nicely plated, and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve tried a nice variety over the last few years, including the fruit tarts, pudding, cronuts, mocha bread, macarons, and more. You really can’t go wrong with any of them because they are all good! Not too sweet(like most american treats), and not too heavy. The bingsoos are perfect treats for the summer, and if you’re into the asian flavors, definitely get the green tea bing soo! It a giant pile of shaved ice with a bunch of toppings such as fruit, red bean paste, mochi, ice cream, and more. All just taste so good together. The cakes-oh my gosh. So good. I’ve gotten my birthday cakes here the past few years. My favorites are the blueberry green tea, and the strawberry chocolate. Like the smaller treats, they are beautifully decorated, not too sweet, and not too heavy.

The cakes at this place are pretty great. Visually, they are very impressive. They look so nice that you might be reluctant to ruin the appearance by cutting out a slice. I have purchased the green tea blueberry cake and the triple berry cake from here. The triple berry cake was fine. I didn’t think it was anything too special. On the other hand, the green tea blueberry cake was amazing! The green tea sponge had a subtle green tea flavor, and it was delicious. The cream used in/on the cake was probably the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t overly sweet like I expected it to be, and I found myself quickly addicted to the flavor. The blueberries on top of the cake tasted fresh. The blueberry filling was basically what you would expect, but it went nicely with the green tea sponge and cream. The prices at this place seem to be above average as far as cakes go. I haven’t tried a lot of stuff from this place, but for the most part, it seems like you usually get what you pay for. I’m probably only going to get cakes from here for special occasions because it can be pretty expensive!
