Whataburger

Always slow, understaffed. The younger woman cook can’t cook scrambled eggs, instead u always get an omelette like flop of runny egg, not appealing at all, never fails, the older woman cook is 10X better but over all is suggest going to the one on University.

Let us forget any assumptions: that the store was under-​staffed; The store may have been in a rush; The workers were having a bad day. Any of these assumptions will be thrown out the window in favor of personal experience.
I went three (3) times to this particular location– and like any other Texan, I have been to many Whataburger restaurants. however, this location failed to compare to its other franchises. For starters, I was the first in line at the drive through. There was nobody behind me. I only ordered 1 item, but the time it took for me to recieve that 1 item was about 10 – 15 minutes (other locations have it ready in less than 5). Furthermore, when I went home to eat my food, I noticed that the order was wrong. Since I am not picky, I decided to forgo this inconvenience. But the third strike came when I bit into my food, only to find out that the food was awfully stale! It tasted like cardboard.
Now one bad experience at any location does not condone a bad review, but I did go again to give a second chance to this place, AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. Ok so… messing up twice can still be just a coincidence. So I went a third time– this time for lunch. you guessed it. The service and food was still terrible. Overall, I am disappointed. I feel that I wasted my time and money. Maybe when someone else goes, it will all turn out fine, but I genuinely feel that the general service of this location is under par.
Tl;dr Very slow, staff not attentive to orders, food was stale.

Typical Whataburger. Nice, especially after the restaurant was closed for renovation.

Nice and clean, but perpetually slow. Gets slammed with lunch traffic from the courthouse, so either go early or late. If you want better food for the same amount of wait time, try Willie B’s BBQ instead.
